Something is off. Binance's minimum withdrawal is 0.002BTC ($17) and not 0.02BTC (which is worth $165, and not $90).

OP, what are you missing? Again, please take a screenshot of your balance and post it here.

The fastest way is to send ETH to Binance and convert them to BTC. If you are storing them on a ledger, I don't expect that you cannot reach the minimum withdrawl limit.

I do not have anymore ETH to send to Binance.  All I have now is some BTC in my Ledger.  Can some of that BTC be sent to my Binance account to extract all my coin out of there as BTC?  Or does it have to be ETH?

I am very confused about pairings.

You can do the reverse action too: send BTC from ledger to binance and convert them to ETH.

Converting cryptocurrencies directly on the trading platform is more cost effective and you will save a lot of complicated processes! Binance looks great, you can check it out!

What's the update now?

Can you make a screenshot on the withdrawal page about the BTC0.02 minimum you are talking or something that it will show a prompt like that?

Not hearing cases that someone in Binance with around BTC0.018 can't do withdrawal because of minimum*. We need more information so that we can pinpoint what's the problem.

There is a really easy way, just create an account in binance or any exchanger that you like. Transfer all your Eth to the adress of Eth in the exchanger, then put a sell order in the btc market. Then you will have your btc in the exchanger, so transfer them to your ledger and thats all. Good luck.

Why don't you just send all your eth to the exchange and sell them for btc directly, it is less time consuming and you can save some transaction fee.

This is a long process which will take your time and transaction fee.

Simply send your ETH to an exchange like Poloniex or Binance and sell directly for BTC.
That's all .

You can as well trade the BTC with other actions.

you can send your ETH to poloniex , and wait a little when the market is favourable and ETH has increase with little profit then place a sell order . your ETH will be converted to BTC when the sell order is liquidated

Well, there are some websites where you can directly convert your ETH into the BTC without even opening the account. You can definitely try Coinswitch or Changelly to exchange your cryptocurrencies. The manual method will generally take comparatively higher time and lower cost, on the other hand, The automatic method would take comparatively higher cost but less time.

Aside from using shapeshift.io Coinbase has an exchange platform directly connected to them named GDAX where you can exchange your ETH to BTC directly if I am not mistaken. With here you can save you both time and money as you won't be exchanging it to USD anymore. But like what others have said shapeshift.io is one of the best exchanges without KYC out there and the usage of their platform is pretty straightforward.

Is there any built-in the way of converting ETH to BTC in Coinbase. This preferably could be done without GDAX. I have some funds I would like to be in BTC and I don't want to sell me ETH to USD and then buy BTC. But I think with your Ethereum wallet you cannot buy but you can convert ETH to BTC in an exchange where ever ETH is traded in BTC. Sending ETH into Coinbase and transferring to tax for their free BTC withdrawals is a hack to get what you are trying to do. It's free to convert from Coinbase to GDAX.

My personal view is to use shapeshipt as they are much more reliable and easy to transect also it takes too less time to receive the amounts.

wow! the procedures you described looks so complex, I wonder if that is how coinbase operates, but there are of course a thousand and one better ways to do the conversion. Register with an exchange that has BTC/ETH pairs, with this, you can directly sell your ethereum for bitcoin, one of such exchanges is www.mercatox.com

Alright folks I have some Ethereum in my Ledger wallet and want to convert them to Bitcoin.

How do I do this?

These are the steps I'm thinking:

Send my Ether from Ledger to my Coinbase account
Sell my Ether at Coinbase
Wait for the Ether to sell and convert to USD
Buy my Bitcoin at Coinbase using those USD
Wait a week for the Bitcoin to arrive at Coinbase
Send my new Bitcoin back to my Ledger

Is there another better way?

It seems like doing this method will incur a lot of transaction fees and wait time..

Why not just exchanging eth to btc on coinbase pro?

1. send eth from ledger to coinbasepro (https://pro.coinbase.com) gas less than 0.50$ even for large amounts
2. convert eth to btc directly on coinbase pro. zero transaction fee if not sold as market
3. send btc to ledger. zero fee.

Total done with less than ~1 and probably less than 1 hour

Everyone just helped you sell in pairs ETH / BTC but I think they should not sell Ethereum at the moment they are too cheap.

Direct trading is a very convenient method. No matter how you convert, you have to pay for fuel. This is something you can't avoid, but direct sales can increase your conversion speed!
