Altcoins will die due to Bitcoin bull run(ETF, big institutional investors)?

I think the Altcoins also may go up if the BTC goes up. Because people can buy big amount of tokens if they buy Altcoins. Not BTC. The demand for the Alt coins also may go up. That is my personal opinion.

No, it is normal for altcoins to bleed once the bitcoin price starts to rise. Once bitcoin price became stable and increased, the altcoin price will start recovering, investors will buy back on altcoins. Some altcoin might die, especially those who have no working product or no real purpose.

That's right only it also mean altcoins are likely going to stay down until 21st of September, when decisions about Bitcoin ETF shall be made, because that is what this latest market see-saw is all about. As for the extinction of purposeless altcoins, I think it's simply good riddance to rubbish!

Is it really possible that alternate coins will due to bitcoin's monstrous rise? Per experience, alternate coins seem to ride on bitcoin's market price movement because their price is tethered on bitcoin's market value. So i think it's logical to think that altcoins' market price will rise too when there is a bitcoin bull run.

Since the time this post has been added, BTC dominance rose to 53% (as of today)
If BTC starts another bull run with reaching $10-12k, many sub 200 ranks coin on CMC will die in weeks. And I think it's necessary that some of the scam coins goes away from market, it'll help in building a better crypto market going ahead. Also people sentiments towards crypto being a bad investment will change when only tens of coins remains.

The ETF was denied and then the SEC took a step back and now they are reevaluating their decision, it is not known if they are going to approve one of the ETF this time around but we should not put our trust in it, what we need to do is to keep promoting bitcoin so people around the wold become aware that there is an alternative to fiat money, if we do that eventually people are going to realize that bitcoin is the best option for them, this option will take a long time to bring more money to the market but with enough time it will show positive results.

I think ETF will not lead to bullrun. Imho values if this ETFs are too overstated. As I wrote Bakkt has much more chances to implement mass adoption for cryptocurrencies. This instrument can lead to some turnover but not any ETF. That's why some alts will alive for a while but in such market their days counted already

If most of the altcoins die it will be because of the actions of the developers of those altcoins, do not blame bitcoin or the investors, if the investors saw a great potential in those coins they will invest immediately since investors are always looking for one thing, a good project to invest, the fact they do not do it only tell us that the majority of alts are nothing but trash.

Things are never that simple, if the market worked like that then it will be very easy to become rich but since we see the opposite and we see many people losing their money in this market because their expectations do not become reality then it is very unlikely that the approval of the ETF will be enough to push the price to those high levels.

Yea.. More money coming into the market would raise the price of most alt coins as well. Think about it. If the market cap were to double overnight, then a good majority of that new money would be going into other coins. Not just Bitcoin. If someone were to learn about Bitcoin and invest in it, they've probably also heard about Ethereum. So they're likely to also throw some money into Ethereum.
