Looks really nice. I'm a big fan of miners that have integrated power supplies. Makes them much more welcoming to the less knowledgeable miners. And the easier it is to enter the scene only leads to it lasting longer. Anyway would love a review unit, yes new account very long time lurker. However I at least have a website with readership that would get the unit in-front of people.

There may be a LA1THS tree that these are picked from?

Anyway - I would like to register my interest in buying a sample and thus providing a detailed review.

Where did you see the price? I'm interested in the price and availability of these units.

I believe they use the A1 Chips.

I would like to get a couple of units, they sure would be a lot more efficient then my Ants.

9.5 GoxBTC, or RealBTC?

a BTC is a BTC.  Gox just happens to be selling bitcoins it likely no longer owns

24" PCI-E cables with 16AWG wires and stripped ends - great for server PSU mods, best prices https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=563461

Wow another bullshit artist who hides behind the 'language barrier' with posts that make ZERO sense while his customers are screaming bloody murder.

You would think that with all the millions of dollars flowing into these 'companies' from English speaking people they would have the fucking courtesy to hire at least one person who can communicate in a coherent manner.

'You miner ship ready busy wait days' DOESN'T MEAN ANYTHING!!!

I only have a signature because I'm allowed.

Got one of these miners from those photos. I think they needed my display tho... boo, i'll buy a new one.
Have to say after first hour of toying around this is great design and top level hardware. I like it.  Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

BTC value +1000$ this would be mint... but now at these prices.. Not.

i'll try making supersilent 1TH +900W miner.... tomorrow i'll will measure watts.

OH Jack frogot to include info whats the units IP address.... well found it with 1 scan Smiley

After first hour. I think this unit wont need those Industrial level fans. Tomorrow i'm gonna swap them out and replace with some quiet fans. If this unit takes only 1kw thats the heat.. This case is very nice and has room for many silent fans. I dont see issue of running this with less RPM fans. It's running so cool atm.

+1

I received my unit also today, it's a beast, really heavy and makes a lot of noise, but excelent quality and nicely build.

No specs to share yet...maybe tomorrow.

Great miner Jack !

Except it's based on stolen hardware.

If you check the news http://bitmine.ch/?page_id=863, you should know bitmine is just in co-operation with some Chinese company. They just bought the chip from the Chinese company and name it as "Coincraft A1" chip. The Chinese company can also sell the A1 chip. They can call it any name they want like "ABC A1" chip. So the question comes: Does the "Coincraft A1" chip means "A1" chip?I don't think so. This is something like Mcdonalds can make their hamburger and KFC can make their own too.

We do NOT buy chips from bitmine and have no business with them.

From that link:
Quote
Designed from scratch, Bitmine’s Coincraft A1 is a third generation Bitcoin Mining IC developed by Bitmine in co-operation with a team of expert engineers from Innosilicon.

Doesn't say bitmine bought the chip from a Chinese company.

I'm assuming that the R&D funds came from bitmine and it's customers and that Innosilicon was contracted by bitmine for R&D, ergo, bitmine retains IP rights of the A1 chip. Unless the use of the A1 chip in these Chinese 28nm miners has been authorised by bitmine, what we're seeing here is corporate theft and entities being in possession of or receiving these miners, liable for a criminal offence.

Precisely, we are the owner of the IP inside the A1 chip and the major contributor to the know-how of the inner workings that led to its development. We are aware of things like the one happening here and we even made a press release news concerning this matter:

http://bitmine.ch/?p=5178

Whoever purchases these does that on its own risk and may be liable in its own country since we hold IP on that.

Yes, that's China.

Yes, that's China.
what do you mean stolen hardware?
the disign is open source code. every one can get it and do beta design.
and we can ship the goods in 2-3days now. 200pcs one batch.

Do you mean you will sell the boards alone fully populated or that you just provide the chipset/boards and buyers would have to purchase ASICs to populate?

Thats what I was trying to say, barebones boards, would you need a controller I thought it used a Rpi as a controller?

Buyers would have to supply the ASIC chips as the chips are proprietary tech.

Whats the difference between supplying entire miners WITH the chips or boards WITH the chips.

As the the proprietary tech, do you mean bitmine? Its only their word on it, and their word isn't exactly good round these parts these days according to their customers.

I would have thought that if Bitmine were so full of ownership of the A1 chips then they would have been able to legally stop these guys dead in their tracks from manufacturing or selling chips based on their proprietary tech. As that hasn't happened yet I'm reluctant to believe either party.

If they're getting the chips from bitmine, no problems.

I would prefer to err on the side of caution, the possible few dollars profit really isn't worth it. More so if you've already got a few miners you'd rather not have to justify why they shouldn't also be seized or destroyed.

Plus, to make this an even handed comment, even if Bitmine can prove that someone stole their IP how are they going to know if you have one?

Yes, that's China.

And the Chinese resellers post:

Giorgio,please clarify in legal term:

Does Innosilicon have right to sell the chips or not?

+1

It's becomes quite obvious who's wearing the pants in the CoinCraft A1 family and therefore where more credence should be lent.

This 1TH/s miner is using illegal fake A1 Coincraft ASIC based miner produced in China. They are being sold on the black market in China illegally and without Bitmine's permission: http://bitmine.ch/?p=5178

IF YOU PURCHASE THIS MINER THEN YOU ARE PURCHASING COUNTERFEIT HARDWARE AND IN MOST Countries that is considered illegal. Just trying to warn people because we have spent a lot of money on genuine A1 Coincraft chips that we purchased directly from Bitmine at the end of January and we know how much they cost. There is NO WAY that the ones being sold in China for around $4000/miner are legit. It is ruining the Mining difficulty for everyone else for people in China to be stealing Bitmine's intellectual property and selling it for less than the bulk price directly from Bitmine.ch

There is no guarantee that those chips will perform to Bitmine's standards and they are definitely NOT real A1 ASIC chips. Check the price on Bitmine's website yourself for purchasing 500 chips. Their pricing is $43,750 for 500 chips which comes out to be $87.50/chip

How can people in China afford to sell 1TH/s Bitmine A1 Coincraft based miners with 40 chips per miner running between 25-30GH/s per chip for only $4,200 to 5,000? The 40 chips alone cost $3,500 (40*$87.50=$3,500)

This $3,500 bulk purchase cost of the 40 A1's from Bitmine does not include the cost of manufacturing PCB's, cases and the rest of the parts for PSU's, cooling, Raspberry Pi, etc...

The math does not add up so I would be VERY CAREFUL of buying those illegally produced A1 chips! It is like purchasing a fake iPhone. It may work for a little while but it is not the same quality as the real thing. Help stop this criminal activity by boycotting the sale of these fake A1 Coincraft chips from China.

Snip unqualified rant

You should really divulge your conflict of interest seeing as you are also selling a 1TH miner and would benefit from loss of sales to a competitor. Also you need to liberally sprinkle the word "alleged" through any post that flings unfounded accusations around. Everything you write as fact or law is in fact heresay because until someone sues and wins or a judgement is passed down impartially in legal proceedings, well until then its just one mans word against another.

Just some friendly critique, it'd be wise to take off the Mt Gox price ticker from your website, AsiaBTC.

Don't think you'd want your company endorsing a scam exchange.

Unless, I missed it there is still not an English version.  That happens to be the same chip count as the lketc blades.  Interesting.
