People were advertising scam on Facebook which is why Facebook took a stand and banned all the crypto based ads. However, They are allowing Coinbase because it is legal and registered so there is no chance for them to post fake advertisements. However, this will have very little impact on the community, at best, the community might grow a bit.

Not all the time you can react on that. I think there is a big reason why they banned bitcoin. Since it is just a coinbase,facebook cant earn a lot from bitcoin. They cant detect the things that they want. This facebook is controlled by government a lot. And government is against btc.

This incident may open the door for other legit companies to post their ads and promote their services from now on but I don't think this will have any significant impact on Bitcoin.
