As above.
Unlike traditional banking where clients have only a few account numbers, with Bitcoin people can create an unlimited number of accounts (addresses). This can be used to easily track payments, and it improves anonymity.

I know bitcoin has been positive for each year since the beginning but I would feel more comfortable with a 2 year bet.

There was a 12 month stretch in 2012 when Bitcoin stagnated.

A 2 year holding period has never failed to yield a handsome profit.

Option #1 has pulled ahead of the $450-$499 range...

I think we will see a floor of about $400...  The first coins I bought were obviously way below that, but the last ones that a bought were significantly above that...  I don't yet know the price at which I will throw more money at it...
