     ltc lose  money currency bad

     time waste    Angry

Maybe you shouldnt be using cryptos in general as a revenue as opposed to what the original idea was which was to utilize it to bring the power of money back to the people. You know, kind of like what Satoshi said?

These sorta people are exactly thre reason crypto is having this dip, all the noobs on their get rich quick scheme, not gonna happen, but it gives us something much more, the chance to build together on a system that takes away our slave owners, banks and governments....

Every time a block is mined, a certain amount of BTC (called the subsidy) is created out of thin air and given to the miner. The subsidy halves every four years and will reach 0 in about 130 years.

If you're a small investor, you should be prepared to buy crypto currencies like Litecoins whilst there price is going down Wink

Because, when the huge investors start buying up coins, the price will increase so quickly that your opportunity to benefit will disappear. Sitting on exchanges 24/7 is not a fun and small investor usually have jobs to go too Huh And, can't wait for events that occur once every 6-8weeks Huh Cheesy

I bought LTC all the way down

0.0067BTC
0.0066BTC
0.0065BTC
0.0064BTC
0.0063BTC
0.0062BTC
0.0061BTC

This is the only way small investors can be on the right side of market prices.  You just need to do some proper mathematics and macro economic calculations to work out which coins are:

a) Bust coins - developers have disappeared - servers or nodes are paid up for 1 year Huh
b) Hobbyist coins - cult coins or bust coin saved by the owners of coin to enjoying being the boss  Roll Eyes
c) Economic coin - high volume and price above 50 cent  Lips sealed

d) New coin - speculation as high profit or loss opportunities Shocked

Litecoin is economic coin, you can only go wrong when the cost of producing extra coins (ROI on investment + plus labor + electricity) is greater then x1.6 compared to a POW coin's 4 year period from one block halving to another block halving. This is tricky to judge due to the "gravity well rise in difficulty" as outsiders buy hashpower to get Fiat Currency out of mining a crypto currency when the prices excessively exceed the cost of producing extra coins. And, electricity and labor costs are not universal constant around the world Grin

I hope everyone knows, when the block halving on LTC is?  Grin

So, today LTC goes from 0.00625BTC to 0.0078BTC in 3 hours - small investors need to take advantage of slumps in coin prices to buy economic coins, otherwise they will not make net profits on crypto currencies from low risk investments Wink

Yes, crypto currencies are much more reliable then traditional banks Wink

I'll give you an example, Barclay's Bank online service is down for maintenance for another 24 hours.

This brings, the downtime of their online banking site this year to 1 week Shocked

In the last 3 years, the Litecoin has 0 days lost from it's usability  Grin

The Bitcoins network has lost 0 days in the last 6 years from it's usability Grin

The crypto currency network is 100% reliable when compared to the traditional banking system, even though the traditional banks have spent billions on there online infrastructure Wink

If's official, it would cost $5 million to develop a 16nm ASIC Chip for scrypt algorithm Shocked

From Marco Streng interview (CEO of Genesis Mining):

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8ROQZZhjY1c

Yearly, coin production value at $1.80 is $18,921,600

Using this formula, 10% is R&D ($5 million for 16nm), ratio of 10 to 1 on R&D versus Profit, total manufacturing profits must be $50 million. If, profit margin on selling units is 10%, then net sales will need to be $500 million.

Modifying the formula for lower profits:

Using this formula, 10% is R&D ($5 million for 16nm), ratio of 1 to 1 on R&D versus Profit, total manufacturing profits must be $10 million. If, profit margin on selling units is 10%, then net sales will need to be $100 million.

Essentially, you are not going to see a 16nm Scrypt mining ASIC on Litecoin at $1.80 Grin

Charlie Lee creator of Litecoin @ Zapchain. (Interview)

Thanks, for the link Grin

He is a very polite and a very pleasant man. Someone a woman could take home to meet the parents without worrying Grin

The index between BTC and LTC he identifies is called the "Fiat Currency Exchange shuffle"; it was discovered on exchanges like BTC-E, where knowing when a commercial mining operation is depositing its' LTC or BTC (not forgetting large Fiat Currency deposits from rich investors) allows full time traders to shuffle their funds between Fiat Currency, BTC and LTC to enlarge their holdings of crypto currencies or Fiat Currency without extra investments.

Maybe, it included some inside information e.g. employee at the Fiat currency Exchange would tip his mates off when a large cash deposit had come in or large BTC deposit had come in or large LTC deposit had come in. However, it is possible to spot them without inside information, if you are willing to sit on the exchange 24/7 Tongue

If, it was a Fiat Currency deposit, the day traders could inflate BTC and LTC prices  Tongue

If, it was a BTC deposit, the day traders could deflate BTC price  Tongue

If, it was a LTC deposit, the day traders could deflate LTC price  Tongue

The added twist, was shuffling between BTC and LTC according to whether the large depositors needed to sell LTC or BTC.

For a laugh, last year using the "Fiat Currency Exchange shuffle" at BTC-E, I turned a deposit of 10 Litecoins in 30 Litecoins in 2-3 weeks during my holidays off work Shocked

This kind of shenanigans do not help with crypto currency development. Newbie investors need to be protected as a priority agenda. Secondly, life is full of fun stuff to do and interesting things to discover Wink

Therefore, sitting on an exchange 24/7 ain't my cup of tea and I guess the same applies for Charlie Lee Cheesy

Nice. Never thought that way about what deposits would inflate/deflate prices, but it sounds reasonable.

Perhaps I should read the market data more closely next time I gonna trade my LTC.  Wink

I actually thought this coin had died already and only bagholders were left keeping it on number 3.
