Agreed, we've seen it go from U.S. $165 to $341 in 24 hours so you would think $700 is possible by Christmas - and 750 to $800 by NYE.

But 2018 is way too hard to gauge for me - it could just flatten out at a new higher level or go way up.

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

Litecoin is often compared to Bitcoin, and for good reason: the two digital currencies are closely related, with Litecoin having been heavily influenced by its older peer when it was developed in 2011. Both share a deflationary nature, with the supply set to taper in the next few years.First, Litecoin has a lifetime cap of 84 million coins, which is four times higher than the total number of Bitcoins that can be mined. Litecoin has a time of 2.5 minutes, compared with 10 minutes for Bitcoin. In practical terms, this means that transactions involving Litecoin will be confirmed four times faster than those for Bitcoin, according to Seeking Alpha's Melwin Phillip.Litecoin's mining algorithms are significantly simpler than those of Bitcoin, meaning it can be mined on computers which are less powerful and that it will take less energy.

I like this project. Here explains that miners will get 50 coins per block. What do I want to know, is it the perfect coin? or can it still be more?

The mining reward per block is now 25 coins because halved, but is very hard to mine it because the hashrate is huge and you'll need a lot of hash power to mine Litcoin. Since the scrypt asics are out is very hard to mine Litecoin.

Agreed. Holding LTC is a must. When BTC will hit 100,000 USD it will be valued at 10k at least

Next year sometime old times will be back like LTC was at 1/10th of Bitcoin's value. LTC came out like dark horse in current situation when most of the people were not expecting good times for altcoins but it made everyone's opinions wrong and keep climbing up and up.

This is what some thought about Dash when it was at 70$ and thought I'll buy when it drops back to 10-15$ and those guys are still waiting  Grin
What you have to note is that yes, some correction will take place and LTC may go back too 200$ but it won't go back to 100$ in my very personal opinion  Grin
There is coins that are not altcoins . They have theirs own systems ecosystem and infrastructure already set to grow and LTC is one of them. But even that does not matter. Rise and you will rise , fall and you will fall. This is what some kings can do my friend and if some decide that LTC or anyother coin is the next BTC , it will happen. No one can stop them.

LTC pump cause Steam canceled BTC and now accept LTC

Yes, I just read the announcement about buying Steam Vouchers with LTC! This is great for Litecoin, is one step forward and it prooves once again that LTC is a way good payment option then Bitcoin-less fees, faster transactions!

Larimer is not satoshi however i guess he asked him questions about bitcoin~imo emc2 likely to surpass marketcap of LTC using litecoins pawned code base lock step EMC2 will disrupt litecoin(same algo) Wink weee™

Litecoin is sleeping giant indeed. It is unstoppable now, will go up more in 2018. Better alternative to Bitcoin.
