I have been using LTC for exchange to exchange transfers(fast and low cost) but the growth made me change my mentality and store them Cheesy

Yes, after the price of this coin has increased dramatically, I also began to view LTC as a coin for investment, not a coin for payments. I believe that in 2018, LTC will become even more expensive

Why does everyone so blindly believes that Charlie sold all his LTC? He could have like 10 wallets that no one knows about and this is just a speculation or a tactic.
I personally think he sold most of them early this year thou.. Cheesy

I salute Charlie Lee for his sell. He sold at the top just before the dip what timing. I’m sure it would go higher so I’m suspicious of the timing of the dump.

fool he sold to buy LitecoinCash ===> *proof* : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iIdnYAkqSes

Things have not been much better for Litecoin in the last week, though the ship seems to have steadied through the weekend, following a brief collapse to $144.
Litecoin has also been moving in the shadows of Bitcoin, with market sentiment towards Bitcoin influencing appetite for Litecoin.
The good news is that the dips have been relatively short lived for Litecoin, though we are going to need to see Litecoin break back through to $300 levels if a fall back to sub-$300 level ranges is to be avoided.
Investors will need to consider the current relationship between Bitcoin and Litecoin, with news of 40% of Bitcoin sitting with just 1,000 investors certainly a good reason for the correlation to soften.
At the time of writing, Litecoin is up 0.79% to $281, with trading volumes on the lighter side.

Is it true the rumors that Coinbase will delist Litecoin from the exchange and Charlie got the inside cuz he used to work there?

Litecoin has been rather lackluster after its founder admitted to being completely out of the digital coin.
We now have support at $284 (according to CMC)...
but that has been broken a few times.. only to turn things back around.
The question is whether we can continue to build up momentum to the upsid.. (might be NExt year) or does the support finally fall apart?
If we break down below $200.. it could be lights out for Litecoin in the short term.
Otherwise! these dips could offer short-term scalping opportunities.

An interesting coin is very similar to ether. In December of this year, it increased from 80 $ to 350 $. But all the time correction cryptocurrency heavily pruned and LItecoin up to $ 250. What do you think whether to buy it now when the price has stabilized, or even coin falls?

Other coins and tokens lost both volume and value in this recent correction in altcoin market whereas LTC sustained the gains. I see only low volume and price still at very good level with plenty of support and stable floor apparently. It is going to be ready very soon for next ride in near future.

LTC is a good example for how important it is to appeal to emotion rather than reason. 2018 will be an interesting year  Cool

Agreed; the entire altcoin market (monitoring Bittrex alone); saw a roughly 22% median drop last night starting at roughly 11:50PM EST.  The average 24 Hour % Gain/Loss across all 197 Bittrex Markets dropped from a median of roughly 13.9% gain to a loss of -8.3% across all markets. The drop lasted roughly 40 minutes.

Litecoin holds an interesting place in the Altcoin economy. It has always been seen as Bitcoin's "Alternative" in terms of the first mainstream highly traded altcoin.

Also; Bitcoin faces some serious obstacles which it will need to overcome moving forward; one of which is the the transaction fee/block size/transactions per block issue.

As Bitcoin has no where near reached "mass adoption"; and the average transaction feed has skyrocketed (averaging roughly $17-$25). This is a major roadblock for Bitcoin. The utility of zero cost; or low cost transactions is no longer possible. For mass adoption to be even considered possible; this issue needs to be solved with a hardfork which is no where in sight.

How can the average person utilize bitcoin to make a basic purchase; or buy a $50 gift card through GYFT, when the TX Fee is $25?  And that's for a small KB transaction.  People who send Bitcoin from a wallet address that has multiple small inputs (dust transactions) will find their transaction fee exceeds the amount of Bitcoin they even have.

Litecoin has proven to be a in for the long run contender, and has survived the bloodbath of the Altcoin showdown we've seen in the past 2-3 years.

Lastly; the fact that the Lee sold his stake in LTC really means very little. As LTC is a decentralized cryptocurrency and he's agreed to remain onboard; he most likely has valid reasons and was transparent about his liquidation of his holdings. Something he was in no way required to do (as required by corporate executives in the fiat/stock markets).

The fact that he was transparent says a lot to me; and even it if was after; why would he announce his sale prior to liquidation.

LTC has held up well. I think factoring the above along with the sentiments being echoed in other above comments and on websites/coindesk/etc - LTC I think could have an extremely promising year moving forward.

Cheers!
