speculation is good, i am very happy to be in that phase, when the adoption will be in full power, prices aint gona be so volatile, there wont be x10 or x30, x40 returns in 5-10 years ahead,...so we are at the bottom almost 60%-70% sure, when the bit makes that clear breakout to the upside (if), its gona blow trou the roff, non stop i aint even sure that the 10k R will hold

Bitmex exchange is acting strange I logged in and showed 0 coins and the website went on and off.. Shit I hope this exchange doesn't get hacked if it does I'll lose all my life savings..

Two rules:

1. Never keep all your coins on an exchange.

2. Don't even put pocket change on Bitmex. It's the shadiest exchange out there.

Do you remember  when Charlie Lee said litecoin price could drop to about 40usd - when it was said it seems to be unimaginable, but now we know it is reality - and it seems to it is not a finish of dumps.. While bitcoin is close its bottom (however we have to be aware it could be much lower - about 3k) such decrease could cause much more decreas in altcoins prices (and LTC isn't excluded)
and I don't think any news could help - maybe for daytrading only...

All this year altcoin has been falling.it seems that the price of all cryptocurrencies does become lower.we don't know where the bottom is.and we can only cry and sell them.

The bottom is zero for all coins that have no purpose. Ask yourself whether you think the world needs a coin or not. If the answer is no, sell or hold for a fake pump.

i believe cripto will reach 3.6Trilions in 3/5 years, if u like it or not, thats where we are going, in 10/15 years, we may be at 10/15 Trilions. But if u dont believe in this, its better not to hold any crypto

Hi, have a problems with the last Litecoin Core 0.16.2.

1) I created new wallet and made a backup.
2) I noticed that there was no address in "Receiving address" window and I created new: MSXTigm4X35U3xGk3YN8r1kUarL66yezGL.
3) I send a small ammount of latoshi to this address just for test...

Then I tryed to test my backup:
I restored it and noticed that there is no new created address MSXTigm4X35U3xGk3YN8r1kUarL66yezGL and my balance is 0.
Why???

Also block explorer https://live.blockcypher.com/ltc/ display "Invalid Address". Why???

thats because we are investing in future, if you want to invest in past, like google, apple, facebook etc, you might loose more in next few years, simple bcs the growth will be halted.

That's true how much development has been which came out of surface and many things surely are going on behind the scene which will be revealed on their time. It is hard to predict the price but let's expecting 5-10x in next bull run will be easy. That is my target even I don't have many but for diversity and hedge it must be in ones portfolio.

That is really bold prediction but if we see the past progress than there is no reason to deny this fact. I also think in next few this will grow more healthy when mass adoption will happen surely it will push this ecosystem to next level.

yeah its bold but rumors was right some times and if i am not wrong then it will happen in next 5 years
that's why i am collecting and holding crypto coins and tokens specially then best crypto top ten and most of in top 50 coins and tokens
litecoin is good coin and in top 10 crypto so holding litecoins worth a lot hopefully

You have to create the backup (wallet.dat) AFTER you create the receiving address.

Blockcypher is a stupid explorer with lazy ass developers that still haven't included the M* type address for over a year. You need to convert it to the old 3* type address https://litecoin-project.github.io/p2sh-convert/

Should I backup wallet.dat every time I create new address?
Sometimes new change address created automatically after transaction...
