How about an eye which opens to different extents, and widest for 5000 good reports?

This represent reporter's eye condition after seeing too many shitposts

You know, right? I've realized that too.
That's not what actually I'm trying to display, it's the color's neutrality-level. It goes from green (light-leveled color) to red (elite).

How about an eye which opens to different extents, and widest for 5000 good reports?
A red eye looks grim

With a 16x16 pixels limit, there will be limitations.
If the three aren't shaped similar, there will not be any uniformity.

IMO, what we need is a (better) SMP Forum-friendly badge.

I have many ideas from the beginning but I'm not a designer.
Since this thread is still open here are ideas that you people, can work on it.

Sorry for the wait, when I went to implement this it ended up being quite a bit more of a can of worms than I originally thought because of opting out, preventing certain report-count-padding strategies, etc. It's still on my to-do list, but there are several things above it.

Thanks for the update.  Badges seem like a cool new update to the forum (and it's great to see you devoting so much time to forum advancements lately). 

Do you think there will be more badges added in the future?  Wondering if this was part of a grander plan or planned as a single implementation.

One more thing, what happened if someone use hundreds of newbies account, or even brandnew, publishing hundreds or thousands of shitty posts.
After that, they use their main accounts (higher ranks, of course), to report as their contribution and earn badges.

Those badges are only for "cosmetic" purposes, more like 'copper membership' bought by a Legendary member.
I don't think that somebody will ever do that in order to display a fancy badge on his profile, unless it's paid or tied with trust rating.

Although, I can agree on implementing a point reduction formula/system for consecutive bad reports due to the fact that more and more users will probably report any posts regardless of the contents to look "cooler".

I'm still waiting for someone to finish a variant of the Pacman-theme. Paying 10 merit

Basically like this one:

5000 good reports

But with four ghosts in the original colors: red, pink, cyan, orange...

Usually, Pacman will run from the ghosts in their colors.
Then, for 300 good reports, you'll get Pacman with one ghost ... for 5000 good reports Pacman with all four ghosts.

And you'll have to have Pacman on the right side of the ghosts (he's running from them, right?)

And when you've reported anytime within the last 24 hours, your ghosts will turn blue, and Pacman will appear on the left side, chasing them
