Are there any rough estimations on the market size at the moment and the number of players?
Which are considered to be the big players so far?

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

How would you estimate 1m USD ?   There are so many new entrants every day and established sites, I think its very hard to calculate a figure.   you have up and comers like www.orakle.co , primedice etc. taking out the older guys.

a cool thread would be to understand where the whales of bitcoin play.

The response we are getting is amazing. I cannot believe though, how many primitive looking games there are around.
But they still attract a good crowd.

Very strange.

Wendigo... primitive looks like a game that was made in the 80's. For an Atari 2600.

We are one of the few Bitcoin casinos with modern looking games. And superb graphics.

For most Bitcoiners, we prefer something provably fair, as opposed to something pretty. Even though the UI for a site like JD may be "primitive", they are highly trustworthy, and are proved fair.

Website design does not matter for casinos. What really matters is if the site is provably fair. Most new sites has good design but they are scam they are not provably fair. The outcome is programmed to make sure the owner earn money not based on randomness. Is your website provably fair?

Somehow I really doubt this is true. It might be true for the real gambling degenerates at the moment, but as real games are starting to be introduced and serious companies start to get into bitcoin this dice fad should blow over soon.

I doubt that dice gaming will disappear anytime soon, maybe the smaller ones but JD and PD will probably be around for quite a while to come with their sheer volume. Even if someone new enters the market, it is rather hard to reinvent the wheel and come up with a different gaming experience that people would be willing to switch to.
