Friend tried to do a withdrawal and site would not allow her in...any scamming yet?

Just logged in without a problem, however the yield over the last 3 days has been less than what I'm making from mining.   :-(

I logged in and initiated a withdrawal successfully.  It hasn't come through yet, but it usually takes a while.

Hi mate, why the hell is this thread in gambling ?

1. It is sort of a risky investment >> U might lose all of your coin

2. This is the best place that best fitted the various bitcointalk forum section.

Hi mate, why the hell is this thread in gambling ?

Because that's where all the Ponzi/HYIP threads are?

Hi mate, why the hell is this thread in gambling ?

This sort of bothered me too, so I started a new thread a week or two ago under securities:

The gambling forum is probably a little more appropriate so not to confuse people even more about HYIP's since the Bitcoin market is new to HYIP's. But considering the Securities forum does state as a warning "Watch out for Ponzi schemes. Do not invest more than you can afford to lose." it probably is just as appropriate for a HYIP thread.

STAY AWAY: rockwell,btc-arbs,bitcoin-trader - I've been playing HYIP's and have a near flawless record over the last year. Made over 1000% return last year. Play HYIP's safely and smart! Stay away from the referral whores on this forum, especially from those putting out their referral links in their signatures. They have no other interest but to profit from you.

It looks like BTC Arbs is vulnerable to Heartbleed, let's watch if they fix this or not.

Does someone else want to ask them about fixing Heartbleed?  I'd do it, but I don't know how to properly keep track of the certs and see how/if they would fix it.

No it is fine.  That test can give a false positive when load is high.

I am not an old member here but I see how this site was working. I thought to myself hey we can do this ourself. But inorder for it to really work each bitcoin owner should team up with other btc owners and open an account on each exchange and simply do the trading themselves.
For Example:
Investor A(Each investor can have multiple sub investors): 6 btc at BTC-e
Investor B: 6 btc at vircurex
Investor C: 6 btc at Cryptsy

If investor A can report a lower buy rate then the sell rate to investor C he can transfer the 6 Btc and can be traded by Investor C and the USD or any other crypto currency can be returned to investor A.

This is just an idea but inorder for this to work everyone has to find the other guy who is trustworthy and can effectively do this. In return all the people working as Main investors can keep a percentage of the profit made this way as decided by the 3 main investors.

You may want to take it out. I am trying to remove what I have left before it is stolen too. No response from support tickets I have placed.

What are you talking about? It gives part of the memory as proof :s

Just to be clear: anyone using BTC-arbs last few days should be very careful. An attacker can steal user's cookies/password as long as btc-arbs.com has this OpenSSL vulnerability. I recommend to not use this site until this vulnerability is fixed.

And well, obviously I recommend to not use them at all since months already but yeh. Will be perfect end for ponzi too "ah shit, got hacked".
