http://www.alexa.com/siteinfo/btc-arbs.com

Pretty high volume site, I think it would be serious jail time, death if they scammed 1% of those people Shocked

I'm pretty confident that we're still gonna get out BTC back..

Hi all,
We cannot say what is the future of btc-arbs. I still think it may take some time to get back on track, but could recover, and to get some returns sometime...
My account has a bit more than 50btc (plz no comment on if it was a good idea). The thing is, I really need to get some money for paying invoices this month. I propose to sell my account with the 50 btc on it for a fraction of the btc's. Here is a screenshot of my account... Anyone interested ? I'm thinking of 15btc... let's discuss it... needless to say i'm serious and it is quite urgent to me.

tough spot to be in dude ... I thought I was crying after my 5+ BTC in 2 separate accounts...
I would have offered some but am in same limbo as all of us ... I guess that opens the table for odd takes... basically you potentially get offered the respective fraction of the lump sum...

so I say 10:1 we get f..d by them and loose the BTC ( gut feeling )... anyone else care to say any other odds ?

We can surely conclude now that they are a SCAM. Will investigate further. I might get some more information in the days ahead. Seems Adam is known as 'sceptre' on the talkgold.com ponzi forum and a close friend of another infamous guy there, with the nickname 'patryn'. A former evangelist and pusher of the now defunct ponzi payment processor Lberty Reserve. Rest assured Adam we are very close...

Ouch, I'm sorry man. The problem now is, even 15btc is money someone is basically trusting to btc-arbs. I wish you luck in that quest, I'm feeling for you.

Ugh this sucks....I put in a withdrawal request on 4/18/14.  After a couple of days of not hearing anything I put in a support ticket. One day later my transaction history shows "22/04/2014 17:46   Bitcoin withdrawal for 1.8011 bitcoins cancelled by admin".

I have since put in another ticket explaining that their website states "within 36 hours" and that is has been 7 days as of today.  Still no response.

I hope we get our funds back, cause one thing is for sure.....I will never use BTC-Arbs again.

I feel bad for the guy who lost 65 Bitcoin, that's a heavy loss. I had gradually increased from the end of February until early April, to the point that I had about 25 BTC worth of principal in there. Over time I'd withdrawn around 6-7 Bitcoin in profits to pay miscellaneous bills, with no trouble. Right now, my legacy balance owed is around 37 BTC and they've seen fit to grant me a whopping .47 or so back, thus far. Each "legacy funds transfer" has amounted to something laughable like .09 BTC. However, unlike a couple of other people, I have still had no issues accessing my account. No answers from the admin in the support zone to about 5-6 messages, however. Not even a form letter response like a couple others here have received.

It wasn't money I couldn't afford to lose, I understood it was a risky investment and this happens. I could have easily lost it in the stock market, as well...but the underhanded way that they're conducting themselves here and frankly the insult of their daily "legacy fund" transfers is really starting to aggravate me.

I also don't believe that the Facebook page referenced in that thread is real. Just someone trying to get referrals.

I do believe the lights are going dim, it's getting to the point where the only two choices I have left are to laugh or cry.

You pretty much have to just write it off as a loss. The silver lining is, I can take advantage of it for tax purposes now.

http://www.trafficestimate.com/btc-arbs.com estimates 600,000 visits over the past 30 days. Alexa ranking is 35,000 meaning that they substantiate each others stats.

Also going by the sheer volume of posts this is getting in such a short period of time, they must have amassed quite a large number of btc.
