Maybe I am wrong. But why should they do all these things with legacy found transfer if they are just a ponzi or scam. I get more confidence now, even if it sounds stupid ;-)
Accounts which did not earn anything now, may be due to the low value in the normal Balance.

to me it sounds exactly like a scam, by paying out with BTC from new deposits -- especially as I'm not the only one who had his account with a 2 figure BTC amount simply deleted.

With your situation in mind, my confidence gets much lower. There is a little hope, that something went wrong and will be corrected later.

I've been watching this thread for a while. I admit that my heart continues to sink with each new post that I read.  Perhaps this is my attempt at offering some comfort to others who also get dragged down by bad news.  My most recent withdrawal request actually went through, albeit 48hrs after the filing.  It was for around 0.2 BTC.

0.2 BTC that was in your legacy balance or in your other balance?

Well well well this is very strange..

Had a "legacy transfer" to my normal balance that has reduced my legacy balance below my initial deposit

that is: deposited 0.5BTC originally, now have 0.4975 in legacy and 0.0104 in normal

Also the 0.5 extra BTC i deposited 4 days earlier still hasn't shown up  Huh

You might want to at least hold off on deposits until they get this legacy crap sorted out.

so what's the general consensus here, have we lost all our money or is this take-over legit?

i cant see why they'd keep paying out little bits into our accounts if they were just taking the money and running?

has anyone actually had their balance transferred out of their legacy account as yet?

I hope I will not be 99 years old until the last part of my legacy btc will be transferred in this cadence Smiley....but, if at that time 1 btc will be 1mil usd, my grand kids will be more than happy with the inheritance Smiley...lol...I don't know what will happen but I think the site still going on like that won't take too long...

According to older comments in this thread, we can be sure that coins of the accounts have been stolen. And that was poimt 1 in the message of Ron James .
It looks like BTC Arbs is trying to earn the stolen coins back, while the leagacy fund is blocked. That way is much better than declaring to be bankrupt, like others did in the past. Most properly the aquisation was required to prevent closing the site. If the transfer is ongoing in the same speed, the leagacy fund transfer will be completed this summer. Guessing August. I hope they find out how to decide between legal withrdraw and stolen coins.

Well said. Way too many newbies on here crying boohoo and spreading FUD over their supposed lost .1 bitcoin. Honestly if you're still living in mommies basement you should be more concerned with other things, like video games or something. Leave bitcoin "investing" to the grown ups. LOLsauce.
Unfortunately the lack of communication from the new owners/operators is panicking *everyone* -- I even went as far as sending a support ticket quoting this thread asking for someone to join the thread to calm things down.

It seems that the new owners have not fully understood/taken on board the major difference between an Online investment (such as btc-arbs) and an Offline investment which is the speed at which investors will see and react to changes in the company’s MO.

I think most people here who have been through takeovers like this will understand what is going on and why; however the lack of communication and daily online reminder tat there investment is 'locked up' while being audited heightens the anxiety levels ; especially as BTC-Arbs provided a huge rate of return compared to other investments.

Enquiring minds want to know... was this really a sudden departure ?

If you actually have information that can lead to find that person, then I think there is no option for him to scam people.
There are some who lose 50BTC there.
