I think the one(s) who found him won't tell you how. since one of them tracked and contacted his family.

It seems to me that the people with the lease amounts (0.1- BTC) are being paid out first so he can pay off as many people with the least amount of BTC.
I think that the admin should AT LEAST payout every day the profit he made.

If he has 500BTC from us, with the profit of 1% a day, that's 5BTC, he could AT LEAST pay out that amount of 5BTC

@Hongo & yonce, could you please update your amounts?

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

Thanks! I will make some more changes today. As I posted earlier: I suspect users with low amounts to be refunded first, to check this I am going to add a tab where you can enter details on when you contacted the BTC-ARBS Admin (mail or PM) to check on this theory.

Edit: done. tabs added for 'PM Sent' & 'E-mail Sent'. Next to that it's now 1 list containing all the users, no seperate lists for Refunded/Not Refunded.

Edit 2: Since we are located in different countries, do we need to mention the timezone? (for instance in GMT / CET?)

Well, if the btc-arbs admin doesn't give us insight in who's being paid out and which amounts we will do it ourselves.
Please add as much details as possible people, thanks!

Made some other optimizations to the list Smiley

Depressing seeing the spreadsheet getting larger and larger. I strongly urge all of you to communicate amongst each other to get your refunds back in full and share info with each other on btc-arbs admin. There seems to be more personal info about this admin circulating and probably has something to do with these strange tactics.

STAY AWAY: rockwell,btc-arbs,bitcoin-trader - I've been playing HYIP's and have a near flawless record over the last year. Made over 1000% return last year. Play HYIP's safely and smart! Stay away from the referral whores on this forum, especially from those putting out their referral links in their signatures. They have no other interest but to profit from you.

I did receive almost the same amount as I had deposited (1 BTC vs 0,0998 BTC)...just 1 day after I had send a PM to the BTC-Arbs admin...but it's from a different BTC address then I had deposited to.

How can I confirm I've received my refund from BTC-Arbs?

I updated the spreadsheet https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1lSUi0_1bqe0sv5XI4EvXWPcWI7fwnJbFQY-kMsYxp10 - Is anyone getting any kind of response from the admin (whatever his name is at this point)?

I never invested in btc-arbs. I joined bitcointalk to warn about the program prior to it scamming. Deeply sorry for your loss, and I'll help in any way I can on getting more information on the admin.

My strong belief is that the admin is paying off small amounts and paying here and there to string people a long while he plans his end game.

Unfortunate that btc-arbs has turned into a scam.

Luckily http://investobit.com/ is now open to the public! Get up to 6% return per day for 30 days.

Hmmmm.... Still waiting on my 1btc from btc-arbs that I emailed to him my account info (keep the .2, just send me the 1 and we are square). Honestly you couldn't have picked the worst time or place to advertise on this thread. A LOT of people here are burned and out for blood. I'm questioning why? Only 4 posts for you so there is a lack of creditably, %6 return is overly optimistic IMO, no identifiable info on the registrant. After being burned on what appeared to be a legit arbitrage site what gives yours any credibility? How are you going to show transparency of the wallets?

Updated my info on the spreadsheet. Good idea! Everyone should enter their repayment addresses on there too, which would make it easier for BTC Arbs (whoever he is) to keep things straight. Also, if your forum username is different from your BTC-Arbs username, that probably needs to be clarified for him.

Might be useful to share info about the admin and the inner working of btc-arbs from those who know in this thread to encourage the btc-arbs admin to get the show on the road with these refunds, if that is truly what he intends.

The refunds are taking too long and you doubt his intentions? Is that what you mean?

I think those in the know are taking a wait and see attitude, to determine whether his intentions truly are to pay everyone back. It was put to me that "if" he doesn't pay me back, information is available to pursue legal satisfaction. Obviously, my preference is the quicker solution of BTC-Arbs simply paying me what I'm owed...so I'm willing to give him the time he asked for, to do that. He told me he expected to have me paid back within 20-40 days and thus far, he's paid me two bitcoin in as many days. This is a much more serious and focused payback pace than I was experiencing in the "Ron James" era of tiny transfers from my "legacy fund" (in which I managed to get back 2.2 BTC in about three weeks), so I'll give him the benefit of the doubt, for the time being.

EDIT:

Top of the new page, so I'll link the Google spreadsheet here.

Hi FreeJack2k2, I thought of adding BTC-Address to the spreadsheet but then thought this would be NOT a good idea to do since anyone can change the addresses. So someone could replace my address with their own.

Thanks for updating your info, I already updated it as far as I could find in this topic.
