Hi all,
Cool to see some real refunds arriving... Keep up the effort, BTC-ARBS ! thanks for trying to recover from the disaster... Really hope to see some BTC arriving on my wallet soon. Even small amounts could ease the patience...

To all : Why have we been down from 8.55 refunded on the sheet to 8 now ?

cheers

The Bitcoin network protocol was designed to be extremely flexible. It can be used to create timed transactions, escrow transactions, multi-signature transactions, etc. The current features of the client only hint at what will be possible in the future.

Refunds sent today

8 full refunds from PMs (including Nullops)
3 partial refunds from PMs (lesnod, dyask and FraMI)

If you have already sent an email or PM do not send it again. Once is enough. You will not receive a reply until you are paid.

Confirming I received .5 BTC which was 50% of my deposit.   Thank you.

I don't want to send you another PM and cause confusion, but I haven't seen a reply from you and I'm wondering is that because I didn't provide a precise account balance and deposit transaction ID's? Thanks in advance for your response.
If you or anyone has a list of btc-arbs deposit addresses, it would help me figure out my transaction ID's as I did not label them at the time.

He said he will only respond to you once he refunds you. So do not expect any contact from him until you are paid.

Yes, it is clear that BTC-ARBS is making a real effort to refund people.   I understand how frustrating it is to not know when anything is coming.   I was in that boat yesterday and this morning I was happy to see 1/2 of my deposit returned.   I sent off my email/PM on the morning of 5/29 so I'm probably on the early side for that.

I hope that at this point people are seeing others getting refunded and it helps with the wait.   (Much easier to say today than it would have been yesterday.)

Dude I was definitely one of the first emails. I emailed him hours after he posted about a refund. That should put me in the front of the list.

I understand the frustration, hopefully you will get something the next round.   It seems from looking at the spreadsheet, he is trying to pay off the smaller amounts first.   I probably sent the PM/Email around the same time as you, as there was only a few follow-up messages when I saw the post.    However my amount owed is about 1/2 of yours.

I didn't see it, is someone messing with the spreadsheet again?  (Or maybe I followed the wrong link)

My 0.057 has been refunded today so I am very happy with that.  BTC-Arbs person is genuine, most people would have cut and run in a scenario like this rather than pay back their investors.

Well done, i'm sure good things will come again in the future.

Gise87, If I'm not wrong, as the sheet owner, you could "protect range" of cells and setting a different permission for specific cells... It would help reduce the messing up...
cheers.

I've added your details to the list, please feel free to add information if applicable.

@btclemming: thanks for the tips, I think I am just gonna leave it like it is for now and will check the list daily on erros and make backups every week.

I've moved the TOTALS to the top of the list and locked it into the header.

@brianbbad: I've got these transaction details from my three transactions to the BTC-Arb addresses, maybe this information can help you find your transactions:
I made three deposits:
0.1 BTC: https://blockchain.info/tx/25624c9269b9363b4c98894e6964d5a05f30a7b57d98213430be0379e46a58ee

Just wondering what the harm is in posting ones 'btc name'. There are a couple people on the spreadsheet that won't put their name? Does ones 'btc name', somehow reveal details about their personal world?

No, you're not the only one.
Am I the only one who thinks the guy deserves some respect for doing this?

just sit tight and wait until you get your money back, I m confident he will pay everyone. But as mentioned earlier, it takes time.

If it still continues to face, is that it will deliver the goods, I give him credit, though, that still not received anything ...

The middle investors will receive installments like the larger investors.

lesnod, your first payment will be sent this week.

The next batch of payments will be sent tomorrow.

It seems that you are prioritizing the ones that complains the most.

I am currently doing the opposite. I am doing my best to resolve things in an unfortunate situation that occured due to a hacking. I appreciate those who are supporting the refund process and the promise to repay everyone. Next batch of refunds in 15 minutes.

I keep waiting, send payment proposal, and thank you for continuing commitment ...
