Ok everyone...I need to take a few mins of your time so you can watch me eat some crow... If you check this thread you'll have seen that a number of times I mentioned that BTC-Arbs will likely never pay me back nor consider my claim legitimate because I had previously called him out on an extensive thread as a scammer over on Litecointalk forums. Well, looks like I'm looking like the fool now as BTC-Arbs PM'd me last night!  So I want to publically apologize to BTC-Arbs for my previous speculative comments. Clearly you've proven me wrong and you are being a stand-up guy and trying to make things right. Going forward, I'll just sit tight and continue to be patient... Ok...so this is odd. I responded to BTC-ARBS to the PM he sent me on 8/2...and now its 8/15 with no communication since. During that last PM he had asked for info (amount lost, username on site, etc.) -- to which I responded with the info requested. Now its been nearly 2 weeks and no communication since. Nothing to confirm that my claim is legit...no ETA on any payment(s). Does anyone know how long he usually takes from that first PM to when he acknowledges the claim is legit and provides the ETA for payment(s)?? Trying to be patient...but is PM from 8/2 got me all excited...but not a word from him since. Just to keep folks updated... I got a PM response from BTC-Arbs. He's informed me that I should recieve a first payment prior to Sep 30th! I'm excited to hear this news and looking forward to getting some of the BTC back. |

I too am waiting on a second payment. Not sure when round two starts. With BTC dropping in price it could help us get refunds maybe.

We're almost four months into this repayment process, now. For those of us who had more than 20 BTC invested, this may end up taking years to be repaid. All I really care about is that I actually DO get repaid, though. It's inconvenient to have to wait like this and it did throw a few of my plans into disarray...but I'm glad to see that he's still here, still making an effort to pay everyone back what they invested. Even if it's slow going. |

Even if it's slow going. I think he's still trying to clean up the smaller accounts. That should start to speed up the repayment process. How much, is any ones guess. But once he's down to a few larger accounts I can picture you all getting larger payments every week or 2. My accounts were about 1/10th the size of yours so I'm sure I'll be around for a while. It really would be nice to know how many people he has to repay and where he is on his list. He mentioned he was on the last page of PM's, that's the second time he's been there. Not sure what that means. |
