Yesterday, facebook shares price fell -24% on DOW Jones   Cheesy

https://www.marketwatch.com/story

Is this beginning of the end of .com and tech bubbles ?

I dont think its end of dotcom or tech. Facebook have issue on security and their reveneu below market expectation, its very normal if below market expectation and have law suit, share price will falling.
Facebook should accepting cryptocurrency ads if facebook want to increase their ads revenue because cryptocurrency bussiness right now growing faster and a lot project need promotion.

Bitcoin mining is now a specialized and very risky industry, just like gold mining. Amateur miners are unlikely to make much money, and may even lose money. Bitcoin is much more than just mining, though!

This is brutal and I dont like the idea of watching this. This has happened becouse of something we dont know yet or maybe we wont know never, and thats bad. Big thing happened to fbook or will happen to fbook (thus people with fbook account will too), dont like the idea, cross the fingers.

How come that you have that kind of friend requisitions?i have been a facebook user for 7 years before i deactivate my account but never had an experience of having such, maybe youre entering sites that has been connected wth those kind of person

I am Twitter user since 2012. Never had any problems like facebook. WHY ?? Facebook is the real criminal

I have 331 tweets/posts and 13 followers on Twitter. See below

I have three facebook accounts.  First, the real one with real friends since 2009 but never log in maybe for 4 years.  Lately, when checking my email, there are 2 notifications of failed attempt to log in to that account.  It's not me but I don't really care because I already forgot my password too.  Second, fake profile for gaming purpose with hundreds gaming friends from all over the world, also since 2009 and still use every day.  Third, fake profile since about 2 or 3 years ago, NO friend.  I just use it to help my 2nd account on zynga poker game quest.  I never have problem like you with all my accounts but my 3rd account always have half naked suggested friends.  Of course they are fake profiles.  So I guess, your account is similiar to this, no friend or not so much.  My point is I don't think facebook is the criminal.  Hacker, spammer, scammer is the criminal.  About 2 weeks ago, I'm interested in facebook campaign so I made a new fake facebook account but it was blocked the day after.  They know it's fake, now it's getting harder to make a new one.

For the fact that stock price falls by that significant percentage does not mean that is the beginning of the end of the entire industry. The going down of Facebook shares is not something that should be surprising to anyone in the know in the scheme of things. A lot of people have moved to other platforms where they get more fun couple with the data abuse controversy that happen sometimes ago.

The current downtrend is not expected to be permanent with the controversy wearing our gradually, the review of their advertisement policy on crypto, the rolling out of new features of videos, things would surely improve and more importantly, stock price is most importantly determined based on emotions of market participants.

Facebook's stock price crash has had a huge impact on the massive leak of user data that Facebook encountered at the beginning of the year!
Many users have abandoned Facebook, which has affected Facebook's revenue. The stock price decline indicates that investors have lost confidence in Facebook!

Facebook has reached its peak and that's why it is going down. It has happened in the past, to quite a lot of the tech stocks, such as Yahoo! and DELL. I feel good, as Zuckerberg is a known opponent of the crypto-currency.

As Facebook have cheated with the users by selling their data without taking the permissions from their users has backfire them. Also what is the bigger problem is that they have made money by selling those data and eventually they did not paid the users for they have earned from selling the users data to their user.

A simple webhosting costs $100/year. Facebook which has 1 billion users. Think, the webhosting and maintainence costs for facebook.

Probably not, facebook is the leading social media today. It may still take years or decades for it to become obsolete or if another platform better emerges then facebook will not go down and close.

That is true. Facebook is already a giant in social media platform and it has developed a lot innovated and great technologies as well. I heard they are building a lot of great things also. It is normal for stock to go up and down. I believe it will come back soon later.

bitcointalk.org has 2,300,000 members. Not bad. My threads/topics here have got 300 to 800 replies.

One of my topic here got 800 replies in 7 days but many of my topics have been deleted.

Facebook will still be able to make billions of dollars each quarter in the near future, although these numbers may decline slightly. But that drop is necessary as the social network is adopting change and finding new business directions.

Facebook's social news feed will not grow. Just as stock prices sometimes rise, they will sometimes fall. What is important is that the current sacrifices of Facebook are effective later on? The answer would be hard to come by right now, but one thing that has to be said is that Facebook will not be able to crash so easily.

I don't think so that this fall of -24% indicates any kind of the end of .com and tech bubbles. This types of fall are seen often and they are mostly present in correction mode of the stock trading markets. But it is far better than those 90's tech and .com bubbles as right now the tech companies are really having that kind of earning potential and maturity in the terms of business. This type of falls are often seen when the overall stock valuation is overvalued, then it has to come down to match its correct valuations and i think it will be adjusted soon.

A youtube video which gets 500,000 views earns $1200. How many youtube videos get 500,000 views in one year ??

I hope to see the day when this POS corporation is down 100%.  I'm actually amazed that people are willing to put all their personal information on the internet for free.
