When will smartphones used for bitcoin mining?

As we all know that smartphones are just like computer nowadays that has strong storage capacity and processor. This I think could be enable to mine bitcoin and this is what I am waiting for if there are any smartphones company that would offer their smartphones for bitcoin mining or even as a smartphone that works as digital hardware wallet for bitcoin and other crypto. I am waiting for it to happen. Do you think that it will happen?

You never know! With the help of nano technology we may be able to achieve smaller chips that produces as much power as a full sized mining rigs in future. I mean that is not the reality now but it may become in future. If you were 80's kid, did you ever think that you can carry a computer in your pocket? Because what computer we have seen that time was Pentium one and it required an air conditioned room to run that. Nano technology achieved that impossible and now we carry a smart phone inside our pocket.

So keep your hope high as we don't know where the technological achievements can take us!

if you know. monero is already offering mining service through mobile phones but this project was stopped due to heat up of phone and many other issue.

In future if any project come then High usage of cpu proceessor may create phone blast issue. and we cannot add any external Cooling system to mobile phones

Dont even think of using your phone for mining. Even advanced level computers are not enough good to do so. You need certain things like mining hardwares, antminer, etc. But i also hope,  that in upcoming days mining would be easier than it is rightnow.

They will never be used for mining as they are not competitive enough. There is electroneum for that, but it is not worth mining when you compete with gpus and even asics that are 1000000 ties more powerful than cpu in mobile

Why would smartphone companies offer their smartphones for bitcoin mining? A smartphone has other expensive components like camera, its screen, its motherboard, etc. Bitcoin mining only makes use of the power of the processor. You are paying for other components but you're choosing to abuse only one part of your phone which is the processor. If you're going to do that, then you should have just bought a GPU which has a lot more power than your smartphone.

I really think that where you are coming from is the Ads of the new phones claiming that they are as powerful as a computer. They can claim that, but we don't see phones running the same apps as computers do like AutoCAD, photoshop. And yes, I'm aware that these has mobile phone apps BUT they just don't have the same functionality. You can do a lot more in PC and you can also load the files better on PC.

Another reason why you shouldn't mine using your smartphone is that smartphones have a short battery life and mining bitcoin makes use of all your processor's computing power and that consumes a lot of energy. This means that, one day, you might be able to mine bitcoin using your phone, but it wouldn't give you much money (since there's not much computing power) and it will make your phone go low battery almost right away. You can do it while being charged, of course, but that's going to ruin your battery life. If you look at it, you might even end up paying more money for the electricity bills of your phone being charged all the time than the money that you're going to get from mining bitcoin with your phone.

Honestly, the computing power of your phone is so insignificant compared to how much computing power other people have to the point that it's probably better if you just do faucets.

TL;DR: It's not worth mining with your smartphone.

I think there is already mobile mining apps that works now but this is not yet gives you great profit because phone can not give what can real miner does. I think in the future some developers will develop much greater apps that we can used to mine smoothly that cannot harm our smart phones.

Why need to take bitcoin mining into that kind of method? Too much watching of science fiction movies?

Smartphones are not meant into crypto mining. It's for general used.

If your thoughts will be turned into reality then goodluck with the price. People will not just purchased an expensive smartphone just because of the purpose of crypto mining. For smartphone to be turned into powerful miner it needs to matched the specs of some of the good and decent rigs today and there are lots of things needed to be considered. If the price will be just the same with the decent rigs and a person really wants to pursue mining activity then go with the rigs rather than using a smartphone.

Thats already being done but it doesnt work at all met. The process of the smartphone (Quad processors) with 4 segments is in capable of mining or solving the math behind the bitcoin blocks. It can be used for solving the Monero like coins but not the bitcoin.
Also there is big hidden fact here, you on an average get 30 H/s of hash speed which is impossible to give you anything in return even you mine the Monero. In short no you cant do mining over the smartphones at all. It wont be possible in the future also because if processors becomes that much strong for the smartphone then we will have entered into the era of AI-up-rising.

Well you should read about electroneum, i believe its a project that makes mining using mobile phone posible but i dont think you would gain any profit from that cause it takes a lot energy and you phone do need a great capability to solve algorithm and i believe mining with phone is useless and you should not do it, it might break your phone. its better to buy a miner with your 1000$ then mining using 1000$ phone.

LOL. I don't know how much coins can you mine before you smart phones suddenly die. Yes, they also evolved with huge storage capacity and processor and memory but I don't think it will be enough to mine even shitcoins. They are not design to withstand that huge processing power needed for mining. And what's the benefits of using smartphone for mining though? If someone invented it, obviously the price of smart phones will triple and no one can afford it anymore. Let smart phone do its thing, as a medium of communication, IMHO.

Indeed. You may try very hard but it is almost impossible to get profitable mining done with the smartphones. I have tried it with Falcon, XMR, Monero but they never reach the minimum cash out levels also and we may end up damaging our devices mate. I have tried to do them with three nights straight and ended up having shit in my wallet. The phone gets hot very soon and literally starts showing the white screen many times. It feels like phone is getting into a comma before it can even get us full coins. Lolz. No mate it doesnt work and I dont think your smartphone creator will create that powerful phone ever.

At this point in time, we definitely don't have to processors to handle it. But it won't take long. It was only a few decades ago when a computer was the size of an entire room, and modern smartphones are much more powerful than those used to be!

Smartphones arent systemically designed to generate the necessary power to mine cryptos.
When Apple creates their new iphone each year, they are more focused on the camera and ability to use apps.
Mining is the least of their concerns.
