My GPUs won't Work

Please take a few mins to read and HELP ME!!!
Hi everyone.
I am new to mining so please apologize for the noob question but I am using ASUS B250 Mining Expert MOBO and I have 2 PSUs both are Chinese with 1 PSU is being used to power MOBO and another one for GPUs (RX 580s 8GB). I have installed HiveOS on 64GB SSD.
I have tried both ways to power my Cards.
My risers have 6pin and cards have obviously 6+2pin, but both don't work. I am using the EATXPWR_B slot and my risers are connected to B07 & B08 as it says connect accordingly.
I wonder if my settings of MOBO are not right but I have
the following settings:
1) Above 4G Decoding =Enabled
2) Primary Display = CPU Graphics
3) DMI Max Link Speed = Auto
4) PCIEX16_1 Link Speed = Auto
5) PCIe Speed = Gen 1
6) Unused Sata Slots are Disabled
7) HD audio controller = Disabled
Power On By PCI-E = Enabled
Moreover, I have checked my GPUs they work fine no defect in GPUs.

I asked for mods to move this to alt coin

but lets go very simple

use 1 psu  to the mobo  and use only 1 gpu

use same psu


don't hook up any of the other gpus or the risers.

see if you can get 1 gpu to work using just the 1 psu

Probably a driver issue as am not familiar with ubuntu or Linux os systems for mining yet.

You should do a quick install of win 10 with blockchain drivers to see if you can get the cards mining first then if you can move on from there.

And for just two 580s you only need one psu connected to power the two cards.
Unplug one of the psus you say you have connected to the motherboard. Just to eliminate it being a power supply issue causing you problems.
