I am going to buy some tickets, if anyone is unable to get out to buy their own, and wants to jump in a small bitcointalk pool, I can buy the tickets, and everyone who buys in will share the prizes. Will post the numbers once tickets are bought in this thread.
To join the pool, it would cost 10.00 in btc. (Tickets are 2.00 each, and to make it simple, I will be buying tickets in groups of 5 each)
Message here or PM, to join. If you are really trusted, you can pay the btc tonight or in the morning after the drawing. If you are relatively new , I ask that btc be sent before the drawing. Drawing is at 10pm Central time, I have to buy the tickets by 8pm Central time, so I can post the numbers and the pictures.
People In This Pool:
Localbtcbuyer - $10.00
My numbers are:
2, 12, 23, 24, 45 PB 6
11, 19, 43, 47, 52 PB 23
3, 4, 6, 36, 44 PB 5
9, 10, 38, 41, 54 PB 7
5, 7, 26, 41, 47 PB 28

If you are trusted and have some trades here before, you dont have to pay for the tickets until after the draw. If you are not trusted, then you need to pay up front. I dont want to buy a ton of tickets, they dont win, and then the person doesnt pay. totally your choice, but not going to run off regardless what happens. This was a last minute thought to put up.

Nothing like blowing some cash on the stupid tax. Seriously you have better odds at a casino.
Also, imagine if you sent this guy some money and he won. Likely he would never tell you, and if he did, he would probably claim that the winning ticket was purchased with personal funds, not the pooled money.

Simple solution. Don't play. It's just something to do. Period. If you have the money, theres nothing wrong with spending 10.00. If you are spending cash that is needed for bills, then yes, you are an idiot. If I won, you would know right away, since the tickets will be scanned and posted here before the draw, should anyone join. I could care less if anyone joins, its a CHOICE. Thank you for your comments.

PS: Buying cigarettes is a worse way to blow cash, and millions do it. What do you gain from a cig? Nothing but death. What do you gain froom the lotto? 99.99999999% of the time, nothing either. But still better odds than smoking.
Moral of the story. Don't judge what people do with spare money. You live one time. Just because you don't like to do something, doesn't mean everyone else feels the same way. I bet there are things you do that I think are idiotic. But it is not my business.

Thank you for your comments. I was never trying to convince people not to play. I have no problems with people throwing away their money. Hell, I have even bought a ticket or two when the jackpot gets big enough. I just make sure I realize the odds of making my money back are worse than the odds on the roulette table. Further, every year, I hear about multiple instances of lottery pools turning sour. Members fighting over what winnings belong to them. Now combine that with the anonymity of an internet based pool. It is best to just buy your own tickets...

No harm in offering. And if I came off as rude, I apologize. I really was not trying to be ignorant. Typed words come off different than conversation.
