Even in the event that an attacker gains more than 50% of the network's computational power, only transactions sent by the attacker could be reversed or double-spent. The network would not be destroyed.

How about 1100 USD? since those 5830s are dropping in value on this hea forum and that 890fx mobo is now defunct. I'll even drive to your place. I live in wisconsin too.

up for stuff, and everything.

Will consider parting it out for the right offer.

Or I would possibly trade my 4 video cards for two 6900 series or 5870s if there would be any interest in that.

Or whatever.  I am pretty awesome.  Not sure if you knew that.

Would you consider parting out the 6 graphic cards?  At what pricing?

what exactly do you mean is defunct? that statement does not make any sense to me.

up for me.  up for awesome stuff.  up for whatever else floats your boat.

Now I think I might keep the 5850s and the case for a gaming rig...so I am looking to move the 5830s separately ($110 each-I have up to 4 of them), and the motherboard/proc/memory combo ($170), and power supply ($200)  send me a pm if you are interested.

All prices include shipping to continental US.
