Waoh never thought of this
also the size of the blockchain will grow 4 times faster in other words bitcoin blockchain size after 9 years is about 144 GB and BTX in 4 years could have 576 GB which is huge.

Kinda impress with your sharing

But why would ETH not last long in your case? I assumed ETH is kinda a good Bitcoin alternatives to replace it if we doesn't have coins like NEO, Waves, EOS

whatever ETH is, it is NOT a  bitcoin alternative because they are not in the same category. bitcoin is a currency made to perform as a global payment system while ethereum is a platform made to perform as a blockchain for smart contracts.

when you are making a distributed ledger and claim to be decentralized you have to consider the fact that regular users have to be able to run the full node and store that distributed ledger so that you can have a perfectly decentralized system.
when the size of the whole blockchain is gigantic (above 1 TB for ethereum right now) and the average user doesn't have that much space to waste for the blockchain (it is 140 GB for bitcoin) they end up using third party services like MEW and after a while only a handful of people (usually exchanges and the foundation) run a node and that is the source of centralization because from then on you have to connect to that centralized node and push your transaction and they can easily deny your tx, ask for more money (bribe), change anything they want in the protocol,... meaning full centralization.

and it is not just about the size it is all the other resources that it takes. like your RAM to load the large data in it, all the CPU power it takes to verify the blocks, relay transactions, ... all the internet traffic that it takes so unless you are on a no-cap internet you will waste a lot of your traffic running a node and a lot more.

I don't think it has anything to do with speed. Grin
Many altcoin is much faster than bitcoin. However, bitcoin is still the market leader, and the market only recognizes the value of bitcoin.

Of course.. bitcoin has all the branding.

What im really looking at here tho is comparing it to the different altcoins.

Bitcoin cash is the best example.. it's like $800 or so -  Why?

Cause it was shilled by roger ver like nothing.

Bitcore is only $2 or so.. if i was looking for a new coin to invest in it would be bitcore as apposed to bitcoin cash.. simply based on the fact the earning potential is much higher with bitcore at this point in time.

i think it is not about how fast is the tx speed of bitcore, but how much peoples buying the coins.
Bitcoin price is very expensive because there were many peoples buying bitcoin year by year.
Bitcore may need some time to become adopted by cryptocurrency users.

I thin the very reason here is the power of influence of bitcoin due to its popular demand. Although bitcore has that kind of advantage this thing will remain powerless as long as the investors is not on its side. It is very hard now by the way to replace bitcoin on its place because people already aware about bitcoin and being hypnotized by its volatility.

There is alot of Altcoins out there that is alot faster than Bitcoin . Whats the point to compare it with Bitcoin and tell everybody that is faster ? Same applies to lets say i Created Clone of facebook and took out the Adverts . Does it means my Facebook Clone is better than facebook ? Ofcourse not . Create someting that is really needed from scratch and then Compare it with bitcoin .

Waves is also faster than many of coins. Butit's not just about the price. Specifically for Bitcoin, it is kind of reserve currency. And that gives big value to it.

Yes bitcoin is more popular, but im not sure if its a better investment at this stage in time.

Bitcoin is $8000

Bitcore is $2

No way to get 1000% gain on bitcoin.. not for a very long time.

I am simply pointing out its 4000X cheaper yet 40X faster Smiley

Why is bitcoin cash so expensive?

So your opinion is.. because bitcoin is more popular - it's a better investment?

I think its probably a more solid investment.

But let's say you invested $1000 into BTC.

Is it going to double? Triple? X 100? I don't think so.. X 100 would put bitcoin at $800,000 each.

X 100 on bitcore would be $200.

That's why i invested into bitcore..

The main thing today is not some sky-high figures of speed, but a worldwide recognition. Bitcoin is a brand that everyone will know. Crypto currency? Yes, I heard about bitcoin. This is the whole point.

And you have heard of bitcore now too, right Tongue
And then it may better of you remove the bitcoin from the table of comparison. It looks like bitcoin should be included on the exceptional to be added on your list.
I would like to see bitcoin core replace bitcoin cash rather than aiming to compete with bitcoin  Roll Eyes

Yes i think this is a good point, comparing it to bitcoin cash rather than bitcoin.

Ethereums blockchain is so big i can;t even download it lol.. it updates faster than i can download it..

Bitcore has zero chance of taking over Bitcoin.  Bitcoin was 1st.  In this game being 1st is everything.  Not sure it it makes sense but that's the way it is.  I don't seeing Bitcoin being dethroned by a faster coin.  I only see it being overtaken if a government steps in.

I accept that Bitcore is faster in terms of transaction and better in terms of some other aspects of the bitcoin but yet bitcoin is the most trusted curreny by the people maybe because it was created first but Bitcore has great potential as well, last yer the price passed over $30 but now it was around $1.25 so it has potentil but not lot of invesots we will see some growth in the upcoming days but it will never exceeds bitcoin.

The reason is simply because Bitcore is a new currency, the community is limited, the popularity is not high ... Bitcoin is the king of electronic money in all areas. As a result, Bitcore is far behind in terms of value.

all coins called bitcoin will probably become famous for writing symbols and similarity in supply, but we have to revisit the project and the team, lots of coins with the name bitcoin today.

Bitcoin is the oldest cryptocurrency and mining is big business so the big backers will ensure that bitcoin has value. On the other hand, Bitcore is a relatively new coin and it does not have much support from whales.
