I thought that there were no transaction fees with AIRcoin. Why are some of the mining pools charging a transaction fee? Are there supposed to be transaction fees with this coin?

https://www.miningpool.co does not charge transaction fees.

Once a transaction has 6 confirmations, it is extremely unlikely that an attacker without at least 50% of the network's computation power would be able to reverse it.

I'd like to buy some AIRcoin, PM me with offers please.

I'd like to thank eduffield and the other developers for this critically important evolution in virtual currency. DarkCoin is what bitcoin should have been. Some might call it "Bitcoin 2.0" but would do better by saying: "DarkCoin is digital cash." - Child Harold - February 28, 2014

I'm interested in setting up a P2Pool for AIRcoin. Does anyone know what needs to be done to the current p2pool to allow this?

Any word on the Mac wallet? I just started mining, but I don't have anywhere to put the coins.

Mac wallet should be released in 1-2 days.
Alright awesome. Also, just wanted to say you guys are doing a great job. This coin has the most organic growth I've seen in a long time.

Not a bad place to start if this is your first P2Pool.

EDIT:  Though applied to Dogecoin, the instructions here are clearer: http://www.reddit.com/r/dogemining/comments/1wmw3j/how_to_setup_p2pool_locally_windows/

That is what I like about AIR. Other coins are all about getting listed, it seems like all miners care about is exchanges in the short term.

There's already a block explorer available.
