Can Cryptocurrency Stand Without Bitcoin?

Is this possible that any altcoin become no 1 on coinmarketcap and bitcoin disappeare

I mean Why bitcoin? As everyone know bitcoin is useless in terms
of usability.

Bitcoin has lot more uses in people who has lot of money because they uses it as a form of asset to hide their wealth in the form of bitcoins. Some people uses it as a form of payments inside or outside the country and whoever allows or accept bitcoin as payment. I think that is a lot more of a usage and that is why bitcoin becomes number one in the market right now.

A lot of altcoins are a lot more better than bitcoin itself.

in my opinion it's little hard to altcoin become no. 1 in coinmarket, but it's not impossible l.

the reason bitcoin is no. 1 because it is the first cryptocurrency. in the past, mining bitcoin is worth, but today mining another coin is much better.

I will reverse your question, can altcoin exist without bitcoin? Bitcoin is the first crypto currency made with blockchain network, I think this is the forerunner of crypto currency. I'm not sure if bitcoin does not exist in crypto currency in the next few years then altcoin would not exist.

It's like saying Walmart is useless compared to your neighboorhood store because at Walmart you have to stay in line.

Everything is possible, but none of the current altcoins has any chance to do this in the coming years.

I disagree with the OP, suggesting bitcoin is useless for useability.

Say that to all the traders who accept bitcoin as a payment option for their goods, to the people
who earn and spend bitcoin with those same traders.

Tell all the people who have taken the option in trusting all their funds or wealth with the banks,
The option is there and is being used in Bitcoin.

I don't think whatever u r thinking is not at all possible. According to me bitcoin is always number one. Why means many investors invested in it. So there income raised a lot. So why they will go for other coin

I think bitcoin will continue to exist in crypto, bitcoin is the main coin in crypto that is the basis of crypto, and I think bitcoin will not be left out and will continue to exist in crypto.

100% the answer is yes on my openion only because if you take a looks on some top crypto currency now you can say that they build and disign to replace bitcoin but still bitcoin is realy strong and atands among all of them but im sure that cryptos will survive even without bitcoin.

I think that this is impossible nowadays. at least now, to my mind, this is impossible but in the future maybe this will happen. In my opinion, cryptocurrency is worth nothing without the btc its leader

No cryptocurrency can't stand without bitcoin because bitcoin is most usable coin than other currencies also peoples are buying other altcoins from bitcoin, this is the payment method for buying other cryptocurrencies on exchanges also blockchain technology is backbone of bitcoin so other coins can't survive without bitcoin.

Of course it can be, but soon it will not, because the dominance Bitcoin increases, now 47%.

Bitcoin dominance increases because traders including me not willing to trade right now due to bitcoin pump and dump, one day pump next day dump. Only few peoples are playing the games and all others are loosing their money.

Possibly, but not now. Eventually, when something really disrupt this whole blockchain era. Something that will be actually used globally without too much restrictions, boundless reach. But that maybe is still not now, but who knows. Some alts now are proving their worth and compared to bitcoin, has really sunstantial potential. Only time will tell.

It would definetely stand but it would also suffer a lot from such event, it is clear market would not totally die with the death of btc which is impossible to me.
