What are some of the best movies based on gambling? My favorite is Rounders. What about you ?
There are a lot of movies with gambling themes, my favourite is the Revolver movie where the main character enters in a very dangerous gambling game where he risk to even be left dead. There are some pretty good actors in it, with Jason Statham being the main character. I suggest you to see it in case you haven't already. For other good gambling movies just check the IMDB website database. |

I liked casino royale very much. It's not fully about gambling but the scenes at the table were made well. My second favourite is 21 - a movie about counting cards in blackjack.
There's at least 20 movies about gambling out there if you like the theme.

I liked casino royale very much.
I have watched this before and this is one of my favorite gambling casino's that I've watched. I suggest you to see it in case you haven't already. For other good gambling movies just check the IMDB website database.

The first movie that comes to my mind is Casino Royale. The importance of gambling in that movie was limited but it was the most famous movie ever made with gambling as a theme. A few others are The Color of Money, The Cooler and Owning Mahowny.

There are a lot of movies revolving around gambling, one of my favorites are 21. I think that is the first movie that I've watched that is really all about gambling. The other movies I love is not about Gambling but there are some moments there about gambling that I love. Focus and The Hang over has some gambling moments that I will never forget. I don't really like Gambling genres since we all know how will they end up, trouble on the casino or either with their families and friends. |

according to this list https://www.imdb.com/list/ls051320004/, I already watched casino royal, rounders, ocean eleven, mavericks, ocean thirteen. I like with ocean eleven and ocean thirteen although I don't know much about the game, I see that my george clooney, brad pitt, and matt damon was on the movies. but I don't have favorite gambling movies, I only want to see how they play the game and take the win money and some time, it doesn't make sense, and it's hard to believe that they can do that. |

I can't believe that no one has mentioned Molly's Game ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Molly%27s_Game). Released in 2018 and starring Jessica Chastain, I would highly recommend this flick for any gambling movie enthusiasts. It's based on a true story and keeps you on the edge of your seat throughout. |

Yes I also really like Rounders, a movie that for me is very nice, a young man who wants to save his friends by making a big bet, despite the enormous commitment that must be maintained and built, at least can inspire many people. people are not just in gambling but others, there are still many best movies, like Ocean's Thirteen, Game Molly, and 21, and that's all I like.

I don't remember the name of that movie,but it was completely based on the gambling.The actor has the super power to predict the future so he knows that what is going to happen so he can be a millionaire soon.Butt he don't do these kind of activities but the people blackmail him to make money for them in gambling by using his super power the climax will be how he get away from those people.Anyone remember the name of that movie?

Also, I would like to add a regional movie. There is a Bollywood movie "Teen Patti". It is an excellent movie based on gambling with very tight story line. All of you can give it a try with subtitles, I am sure you guys will like it for sure.

the first gambling movie I can watch and I like is a gambling film called God Of Gamblers, played by famous artists Andy Lau and Stephen Cow, they are known as the god of gambling. but the way they do when playing is very unique, because it uses supernatural powers. though that does not make sense, but I wonder if anyone can play a gamble in real life that can do such power  |

Molly's Game is one of my favorites. It has got numerous nominations, including Academy Awards for Best Adapted Screenplay, and won several prizes in International Film Festivals. Other gambling films which I would recommend to watch are the following: 1. Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels (1998) 2. Revolver (2005) 3. Casino (1995) 4. Owning Mahowny (2003) 5. Rounders (1998) There are many movies associated with gambling but their main problem is that they are often poorly made. Although I like the above mentioned movies, I still haven't seen one which I could call a really good movie about gambling. |

Teen patti Bollywood is the one I like most in gambling based other than that many hollywood movies are there but one called las vegas which i love most. It shows the complete gambling shows happening on Las Vegas gambling platforms. Then still I do not know what is op gonna do with the gambling movie collection!!! I mentioned Teen Patti in my earlier comment. The movie was not successful commercially and I saw it at home but I will say that it is certainly one of the noticed masterpieces. All the stars in the film performed their roles very well. |

There's one movie I couldn't remember actually the title, and it's with casino house doing poker. I think during that first watch, eventhough am not actually fan of doing gambling but as I've focused watching the movie; that's really the best scene with gambling based movies I've ever watched. Actual strategies was revealed upon decision making, which made the main character analyzed further movements of it's opponents then won over the game. |

Apart from the ones mentioned, like Rounders and Casino Royale, my favorite classical one is The Sting, starring Robert Redford and Paul Newman.
Another one is The Color of Money. I don’t know if it would fit in what OP means by gambling, but they are betting money after all.

I'm not sure if this is a 100% gambling movie, but I really liked The Wolf of Wall Street; I've learned a lot from that movie in terms of gambling when it comes to life and how gambling and other vices can ruin your life when you totally lose control of it. |
