Loan & Collateral - Please someone clarify

In this forum, can someone tell me that other social media accounts which is having a monetary value is considered as collateral or not. I am talking about reddit and steem account.

I have seen many people offering and taking loan, but just need to understand this a bit more as far as the collateral is concerned.

Not really, considering those accounts can be easily recovered via support and other ways like email.
