I have also read that eth new upgrade will be huge as it will not only result in change of algorithm but also it will improve the scalability issue by 1000x which is huge, im sure we can expect 10x raise in value after this upgrade im really excited about it.

Two days ago Vitalik Buterin announced that Ethereum 2.0 is "Really Not So Far Away".
The major change will be the transfer to proof of stake concensus algorithm (aka Project Casper). For those who don't know, proof of stake is ownership-based and will not require "mining" as we know it.

What are your thought about this?

Great news, apparently I missed it. Perhaps the new ETH will go to the top. Well, it is necessary for the market now. Thank you, I will study this news. But however it can only be rumors.
