Here is our update for the week.

- Electrum-Pion-Alpha: A thin Electrum client for Pion. We’ve also released alpha of the OSX binaries. Binaries for other platforms are on the way. If you want to run the client on other platforms, feel free to download the  source and compile.

  Please Note : That it’s a known bug if you try to make your very first transaction, it’ll fail saying could not get dynamic fee estimates. Rest assured, your Pions are not lost. The work around is to go to Tools -> Fees tab ->  Set Fee estimation to Static. We’re working on this to get it fixed in the upcoming releases.

- Electrum-Pion-Alpha: Continuing the Alpha of Electrum client for Pion.  This release includes wallets for the following platforms:
Windows 32bit
Windows 64bit
MacOS
Linux

Please Note: You can either use these electrum wallets or continue to use the core wallets from the Pion release. You cannot import the wallet from pion core into electrum. If you wish to use electrum wallets instead of the core wallet, create addresses in your electrum wallet and send the pions from your core wallet into the electrum wallet addresses.

- pioncore-lib: a javascript library that helps interact with the pion blockchain. Using pioncore-lib you can generate addresses, private/public key pairs, multisig addresses, connect to other peers on the block chain, create transactions and a lot more. This will help the dev community in building apps based on the pion blockchain. pioncore-lib is currently in beta. You can find it below. We’ll be publishing it on NPM as soon as it’s out of beta.

- Enmanet Exchange: We are listed on the Enmanet Exchange. Our First Exchange!!

- pioncore-node: A Pion full node for building applications and services with Node.js. A node is extensible and can be configured to run additional services. At the minimum a node has an interface to Pion Core (Piond) v0.12.3.x for more advanced address queries. Additional services can be enabled to make a node more useful such as exposing new APIs, running a block explorer and wallet service. pioncore-node is currently in beta.

- insight-api-pion:  Is a Pioncore-node plugin for making advanced queries to the pion blockchain using simple yet powerful HTTP API. insight-api-pion makes building applications and services for the pion blockchain a breeze. It also supports websockets ( using socket.io ) for real time events like new transactions that are happening on the blockchain. We strongly believe that insight-api-pion will have a positive impact on the pion blockchain dev community.  insight-api-pion is currently in beta.

- Insight-UI-Pion: We worked on insight-ui-pion in the past week. It’s under beta right now.  This release also brings us insight-ui-pion, an open source block explorer for Pion built on top of pioncore-node and insight-api-pion.insight-ui-pion goes to again show the powerful new realtime socket api provided by pioncore-node. You could also download this and set up your own pion block explorer. insight-ui-pion is currently in beta and you can find it at below in our GitHub.
