Hello theymos, i am Kendari
i want confirms about my account https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=374401 if my account was hacked 3 days ago, let me explain all this why happened to me until i am aware today.

1.) So the problem started is when i play dice on fortunejack and I saw someone's conversation on there then there are people who give a website link and get a prize of 0.1 but must add telegram him @bestgwa. after we chat I am in order to create an account on the website. so I open the link then create a website account and I verify email on the website. see below our history.

2.) unfortunately i use same email with my email bitcointalk, from here i wasn't aware enough until today i login to my bitcointalk account but i can't login so i search where is my problem and also asking my friend to help me. my friend help me and send me screenshot was making me shocking.

3.) i check my history login on my email, whoaaaah i got it my account get hacked but the question why he didn't change my password yahoo, only change my password bitcointalk. here the screenshot from email activity (i am from indonesia not from ukraine or somewhere else).

4.) here the screenshot from reset password bitcointalk 3 days ago include the IP.

5.) So i am here i want clarification if my account get hacked BUT now i can login into my bitcointalk Kendari again, lucky he is only change my password not my email. I can login but still get banned from posting/message, please unbanned my account and i will create the thread to clarification for my junk posted 3 days ago if that wasn't me. I beg to you Theymos, give me one chance i won't ever click click the of any kind link from someone again.

Thanks very much...

OMG, so this was YOU?

I think the case need to be investigated before upbanning the account.

Always use good password for both your email account and accounts for other websites (i.e BitcoinTalk)

It should be investigated, but I doubt it will. I think it's almost certain he was hacked into spreading malware, but clear-cut cases of account hackings that haven't even been spreading malware aren't even being looked into or restored, so I think the chance of this guy getting his account back is slim to none, especially if they can't provide a signed message etc.

I am sorry mate, logging into an account actually does not mean that you are the real owner. The hacker can do the same (assuming you are not). If you can not sign a previously used BTC address that was quoted by someone else on the forum then your chances are very thin to get the account back like hilariousetc AKA hilari mentioned earlier.

This might help...

Since you have a proof that the account is yours, I guess contacting hilariousetc / hilariousandco might help. S/he can unban the account (I guess).
