Hi. Clearly I'm a noob. Does anyone know a way to buy bitcoins with prepaid visa/debit cards? It seems from my completely inexperienced viewpoint that prepaid would be a desirable method of purchase, but I'm afraid this merely shows how green I am.

Thanks for your time :-)

The best place to watch for that is the wiki:
https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Trade

GetBitcoin says they'll take prepaid cards but they are currently down - I don't know how reputable they are either...

You can apparently buy Bit coins via prepaid debit on https://get-bitcoin.com/ as stated above, but its quite a hassle. You have to physically mail them the the card and wait for a couple days until they receive it.   Undecided

don't take your eyes off the charts
