I would say if you have cheap electricity or you are entitled to use your work PC/s for whatever purpose you need them just like I am I think for the long run Raptoreum is the best bet because it is extremely cheap,it is not yet in exchanges or better is not yet in binance and the team behind it has very clear goals, they want to solve something with it.I just made near 1000 coins in just two months with my PC-s,one core i5 8500 and one Xeon 5640 that I am entitled to use as I see fit from my work place.

Alive coin for me is only Monero but it is very difficult to make it profitable with old processors like the ones I mine Raptoreum, you need a powerhouse to become profitable with this.If you are in for the long run just help the network of Raptoreum and most probably in the future I am hopeful to see a price increase like that of Monero for Raptoreum which would make many of us millionaires out of thin air  Grin.

I've heard a lot of good things about Raptoreum so I'm going to give it a shot. My friend has solar energy so I will be able to set up a few old PCs to mine CPUs at his home for no extra cost. Since electricity is basically free, the profit margin is increased. What I like about Monero is that it constantly changes its algorithm in order to prevent ASICs from taking over the network. It's a brilliant move by the developer team as it increases decentralization above all else.

If only Bitcoin was mineable by CPUs like in the good-old days, things would've been different by now (remember one CPU, one vote?). I've been carefully watching the crypto market and I'd have to say the number of coins that you can mine with a CPU are pretty scarce these days. Most altcoins are turning to PoS, further centralizing the Blockchain ecosystem. At least, it's better something than nothing. Who knows if someday Raptoreum gains massive traction in the mainstream world? Smiley

I heard there is a way around mining CPU coins and still managing to make profits out of it, this is coming from Red panda mining on Youtube but honestly, the only CPU coin with enough volume and liquidity is monero and it's also the less profitable coin to mine with CPU.

In addition to monero which remains the main one, you could also try arqma and raptoreum but it still mining at a loss in my opinion is better to be combined with the gpu mining for example with the gpu you mine eth and to make the cpu of the rig work also mine monero at the same time

Verus is the Best!!

Verus uses a unique consensus mechanism which is 50% proof of work and 50% proof of stake and the proof of work side has the capability to merge mine up to 22 chain simultaneously (coming soon, on testnet) without the use of any more power. Not to mention you can upcycle your old cell phone and put it to work.

Raptoruem and Verus seems to be the best CPU coins for 2022.

RTM has Smartnodes, and Verus has POS. so both can earn passive income as well.

Always doubt.

What I'm mining now with CPU only:

-Bitoreum (CPU/GPU dual)
-Raptoreum (CPU/GPU dual)
-Avian (CPU/GPU dual)
-Epiccash (CPU/GPU dual)
-Dero
-pulsarcoin
-Scala
-uPlexa
-Monero
-Turtlecoin and moving it to Fantom until TRTL 2.0 with smart contracts comes (wTRTL)

what I'm mining with GPU only:

-Ravencoin
-EPIC
-Haven
-Grin
-Swap
-Bittubecash
-MoneroV

I rotate them with my 3700x Ryzen CPU and dual channel 32GB DDR4-2666 ram and a Asrock Phantom 4 Motherboard with 2x  1650 Nvidia Geforce non-Ti cards on 512.95 drivers.

Month 1:

Week 1 - Pulsarcoin with uPlexa and Ravencoin (GPU Only)
Week 2 - Ergo with Bitoreum and Scala
Week 3 - Scala with Bitoreum and Avian
Week 4 - Raptoreum with Ergo and Pulsarcoin

Month 2:

Week 1 - Scala with Bitoreum and Ravencoin
Week 2 - Pulsarcoin with uPlexa and Ravencoin (GPU Only)
Week 3 - Ergo with Bitoreum and Scala
Week 4 - Raptoreum with Pulsarcoin and Avian

I mixed it up monthly and rotated monthly, I typically only run trex with itself, or wildrig with itself for example, trex and wildrig hate each other, and i cant mine scala with Pulsar for example, they don't co-exist properly and crash/memory leak often.

DERO-- CPU Mining
In this guide we are going to explain how to mine Dero from the only Dero pool on the market at whalesburg.com, first of all we must first create the Wallet.

You can use a wallet from the exchange Kucoin or Tradeogre or create your cold wallet

take a look at this pool (ordering by ALGO) https://pool.rplant.xyz/ it lists some CPU-only coins.
A good practice for discovering new coins is starting by the hashing algorithm. For CPU-only coins you can look at scrypt family. Yescrypt and specially yespower (yescrypt variant) are minable on CPU, GPU-resistant and ASIC-neutral (that is ASIC maybe better than CPU but not in orders of magnitude like sha256).

CPU-only coins can be used even for monetizing services like websites or mobile apps. If you are a web developer for example this module can help you monetizing websites by using the end-user's cpu power https://www.npmjs.com/package/@marco_ciaramella/yespower-web

You're half right, rplant is a pool specializing in CPU friendly algos. Web mining and mobile apps are mostly scams.

Wownero is more profitable to mine than Monero, and it's still quite active on suchwow.

I think Raptoreum is still profitable for people with cheap electricity. I don't use my CPU's anymore as im going to €0,42 a kw in the coming period.

I tried mining Raptoreum using my Ryzen 3400GE and I got 89-120H/s hashrate, I minted for almost 3days but it seems my hash is not enough to mine RTM, and my projected income is 1.9 RTM in 3 days mining, and the minimum cashout is 10 RTM is some of the mining pool. I think AMD ryzen is not the best contender in cpu mining.

Actually Ryzen CPU's are the best for mining raptoreum. But a 3400GE is pretty low grade. Try a 5900X or 5950X and it's a whole different story.

Guys who like to mine on the CPU. Soon you will hate GPU miners Smiley because those coins where you can mine on GPU will get an influx of new users. And for some users, electricity is inexpensive. Processors will soon rest longer.

That is not that bad.I mine with a core i 5 8500 which has an hash rate of 192 H/s as an average and it makes like 5-6 RTM daily,if you don't want to wait for the payout (although there is no reason for that because of extremely low price of the RTM at the moment) you can use Flockpool which has a payout as low as 1 RTM at the moment and I use this pool.

Do not underestimate this coin, the project behind it has great things as per their road map in the future for it so better stock up now which is easy and difficulty extra low and be prepared for a huge profit when the day comes Grin.

Very biased from my side but for me it’s the 3DPass coin
See the ANN thread https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5382009.0

Currently it has a very simple multithread CPU miner.

Mainnet launched on the 30th August 2022.

It’s a community driven project and we will probably see a GPU miner soon.

Just to give you an idea it’s the first coin I have ever mined with no technical experience (never used a terminal) and I was able to successfully set up a node and miner.

The distribution and mining rewards are as follows https://3dpass.org/distribution.html

There are currently a lot of miners from china and I’m hoping that more people can join with a wider global footprint for Europe, the americas, Africa and the rest of Asia.

3DPass: Proof of Scan (PoScan) Consensus Mechanism that makes the tokenisation of objects onto the blockchain trustless, decentralized, secure and limitless. This will revolutionize decentralized identification, asset tokenisation of anything and everything from gemstones to precious metals.

I would advise to have a look on Bamboo: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5372707.0. CPU mineable project that is still in development and has small community that is rising. You can mine BMB with SRBMiner: https://github.com/doktor83/SRBMiner-Multi/releases/tag/1.0.6

Hi, and what is the correct port for eu pool mining?

Correct ports for mining are 8322 for official pools such as eu.onyx.run, but i prefer this pool http://191.33.253.162/
I have tried to connect to official pools but nothing...(
