If we focus on the profitability part of a blockchain, dating apps can be definitely introduced. These sort of features have a lot of demand worldwide. However, in my opinion, blockchain should be used to solve our problems rather than making profit from it. Many of the ICOs are utilizing blockchain to come with solutions to save our environment, protect intellectual property and refining black oil. These type of projects should be appreciated more first.

So I want to know what's the need for blockchain for a dating app? In my own humble option, I think this project don't require blockchain or unless you prove me wrong.

This niche has always been popular that is was about time some projects were cooking behind the scenes. As we all know many projects don't have a purpose, and they start ICOs only to hastily raise a capital for something they have not idea for.

Others fields like online dating are also making their first steps into the blockchain terrain. But some of them fall short. Like I said, when we want to take something into Blockchain, we need to have purpose... a solution for a problem, so to speak.

Blockchain technology can harbor many fields. There are projects currently developed by Disney for their thematic parks, and NASA is using blockchain as well.

So, I think that with online dating - since it is a topic with a large audience - a project based on this field can have a good future.

I don´t think that dating can really benefit from the blockchain, there is very little problem in current dating systems and the market is practically taken by the large players. Why blockchain for this?

Yes, I agree. It's reasonable area for blockchain technology. Also I think it's very important to have right consensus for that. I would choose proof of identity or proof of verification. Fake identity or fake(photoshopped) images are bad for this area.

I don't see the use of blockchain in online dating. Why would we need blockchain in online dating anyway? What extra features will blockchain be adding in online dating? It would be nice to if someone answered these questions. There is no doubt that blockchain is the future but I'm not convinced that online dating really needs blockchain other than launching an ICO for new projects.

Exactly the same question i was asking my self, there are some project that does not need a blockchain, even if it needs blockchain, there are some project that shouldn't hold an ICO, for me blockchain is needed where trust,transparency and accountability is required. well God knows I wont invest in this kind of project.

I think there is an online dating coin. Datecoin DTC is one of the example. Also socialmedia.market has joined the exchange couple of months ago. They also offer dating. There will be a time that a lot of coin will exist and their services will be improve. I am hoping that Tinder or Facebook will be able to create their own coin. There are news about it but I will only believe it if it already exist.

I think this will be a cool thing.  As we become more digitized,  it's only normal that every thing follows the same trend.
