Need to be move end of this year; wants to sell my mining rig. One less thing to move is one less headache. Trying to fit everything I need in my current apartment into a car.
It's got 2 6970 and everything ready to mine. It's relatively new, only started mining since Jul 2011 and hasn't mined much at all due to my busy schedule. Figure I'll try to sell it off and get some cash for the move since I won't have time to mess with BTC at my new place with the new job.

Some specs.
•Athlon II X2 250
•2 GB DDR3-1333 RAM
•500 GB Hard Drive
•700 watt power supply
•Ubuntu 10.10
•2x ATI 6970 video cards  EDIT: XFX
•Mining output with 2x cards = 730 MH/s

Comes with latest bitcoin client and phoenix 1.5.

PM me if interested. Thanks.

You are more than welcome to push the cards to the max after you buy them. I did not overclock it to 900++ like some do; I just keep it at 880MHz.

And i haven't gotten around to register the cards on ATI for the warranty; so whomever that buys this rig can still get the cards warranty. With semester ending and finals coming, I doubt I'll be doing much on the rig now.

can you take some pictures of yor rig...
and put on a piece of paper your nick with current date?

I'm not saying you don't have the PC or anything but proof of some point would be nice.

also how much you asking for the rig?
would you be interested in selling parts of it? i.e how much for just the video cards.
and since shipping will be an issue... where are you located.

I will take some pictures tonight when I get back home.

Wanting USD1100 + shipping for it. The buyer pays shipping - and I would be willing to ship via UPS, FEDEX, USPS; however you want it. But I want it to be trackable and able to proof the system sent - so, something that's trackable if via USPS (signature confirmation for example).

I wouldn't be interested in selling in pieces; mainly because I don't want to take up the space for the whole system. If I had wanted to keep the system, the video cards are in the system. It's not an additional space. Trying to fit all my belongings into my sedan.

I am in US. I accept payment in paypal.

Thanks.

Sounds like a scam.

Selling a rig in the newbie section instead of the goods section = shady.

he has 80 posts...
so not sure why he would be posting in the nubie section...
but you also have to remember that not everybody is technicaly enclined.

I await the OP's post of pictures before saying he is a scammer.
also any references... ebay or heatware

i beleive in giving someone the bennifit of the doubt...
however if i was buying... i would first need to remove all doubt.

To op,
What is the model of the motherboard?

To others,
Why is accepting paypal a sign of a scam? Selling items with paypal is worse for the seller than the buyer. If there is an issue then the seller has to prove the items sent. The buy can say (s)he never got em.

I believe that paypal is relatively safe for the buyer.  Sellers have to be weary because paypal can just reverse the transaction if the buyer throws a fit.

Why on earth would anyone sell a rig on bitcointalk for fiat currency.

Should be strung up for that shit.

when it comes time to pay...
you just convert it to bitcoins at mtgox prices.

OP
the price offered is includeing shipping to Canada...
cheepest shipping that includes tracking and signature.

because i have trust issues... i will want to use escrow.

then again the op hasn't accepted the the offer so this may all be moot...

1) I already told you, I wouldn't be interested in selling in pieces, especially just the cards. I still have the case that will take up room.

And even if I want to break it up,

2) I can sell the cards at Amazon (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004GCIZ5A/sr=8-1/qid=1319042291/) for USD390 / piece. Why would I want to sell it to you for 250/piece, including shipping?

Don't mistaken wanting to sell with stupidity or desperation ...
