My main account has been banned from posting for 30 days and my main forum thread has been deleted.
I didn't receive the clear explanation of what was the reason for the ban and who to contact to resolve this issue.
The exact RED message on my profile is:
"Sorry ExchangeCoin, you are banned from posting or sending personal messages on this forum.
Reason: Running an on-forum altcoin giveaway / Incentivising posting within specific threads. Ban duration: 30 days"

Read this: Most giveaway threads are no longer allowed in the Alternate cryptocurrencies sections. From now on, posting or replying to such threads could result in being banned. Existing threads will be locked.
Specifically, you are not allowed to give people any incentive to post insubstantial posts in your threads. You can't offer to pay people who post their addresses, usernames, etc. You can do giveaways off-site and link to the giveaway page in a thread, but you can't give people any bonus for replying to your thread.
Similar threads are already restricted to Games and Rounds in the non-altcoin sections, but the giveaway-related post volume is so high in the altcoin sections that I've decided to just ban them entirely here.
Is it really that hard to read the stickies? I am surprised you didn't get perma banned. |

Ok, so I guess the ban is related to the Airdrop we performed in January.
It was 7 months ago and I just don't understand why the ban has been received now and the thread has been completely deleted?
Or the ban is for any other recent post?

Forgive me but I'm lost...
Because someone might have reported it now. I cannot tell if you were banned for someother post , only mod/s can. But since you agree that you participated/held an on-forum altcoin giveaway, I assume that's why you're banned. Just wait it out. Or give your profile link for people to tell any other that you might have been banned for. But I would seriously ask you to wait it out. |

You broke the rule man, give away threads are not allowed, forum rules, it helps to create a better forum that will benefit all.Try to avoid such when your account is reopened |

Can you post a link to your (now deleted) thread? You can't shorten the ban and the thread will remain deleted. When the ban is over, you can create a new one (that doesn't break the rules). Don't try to evade your ban by posting with this account outside this appeal thread. Or this account will be banned and the time of the first ban will be increased. |

You can't. You broke the rules. Read the rules, I am not gonna link them. Find it by yourself, if you come to meta, you can find the rules to. Perhaps the mods will answer you, perhaps not. |
