In the near future, many medical blockchains will arise. As we all know that human condition is not steady. When a condition becomes bad, they will seek help to doctors or medical experts. However, some of the case deserves second opinion. Also, there are cases that answers is not at the exact place and exact time. For instance, an individual is diagnosed with a rare disease in Guam, the case is already existing but not on the said country – its in England. They want some second opinion by English medical experts who already mastered that kind of case. Well, obviously the patient doesn’t want to travel 7,500 miles in order to get his medication – so as the doctor.

With medical icos, data can be stored in blockchain and can be pulled out internationally by those medical experts. Not just this, it can save time and medical expenses it can also makes the mode of payment easier through the use of tokens.

According to NIST and ECRYPT II, the cryptographic algorithms used in Bitcoin are expected to be strong until at least 2030. (After that, it will not be too difficult to transition to different algorithms.)

If things like this actually were to exist, it would be pretty awesome. But, are there any ICOs trying to do sth similar to this?

I think he is suggesting if ICOs like these will exist in the future, or it might be he wants them to exist in the future.
But A new blockchain - (separate from etherium) built for the sole purpose of healthcare would be nice.

i think you want to ask if there are medical icos already existing. well the answer is yes, there are some. but not that match to offer by now. they are more like only focused on patient`s records. but nevertheless, this medical ico is really a big help as far as patients to doctors to insurers up to any related field to pull out record. as i search on web i found this website. try to check medicalchain.com as one of your references

It seems like a medical blockchain project is one of the more powerful applications of blockchain tech, but it will also only be able to be fully realized in the later, more mature stage of the tech. Although it depends on what country the medical blockchain is being utilized in, it requires buy-in from the providers before it becomes valuable (I need my new doctor to accept my medical information stored on the ledger and my previous doctor to be able and willing to put the info he is providing on that same ledger). Unlike bitcoin which, by its very nature, circumvents central banks by allowing any two or more people to transfer balances to one another, a medical blockchain requires centralized health-care providers to buy-in to making the information they currently hold and profit off of highly portable and easily available to their competitors. This makes it a political problem more than a technological one (aside from the early-stage growing pains of blockchain, the tech could easily support this application). So, parallel to growing the reliability and accessibility of blockchain tech so that it can support a robust, unified, and decentralized medical ledger, we need to be building towards incentives for health-care providers to collaborate on a global level, which is going to be very difficult. However, if we started with well-respected and intentioned nationalized health-care providers, non-profits, etc. storing information on the ledger, forcing private firms to also use it, we could pave the road for full adoption, liberating individuals to control their health care data in an unprecedented fashion. What do ya'll think?

Nowadays, most medical practitioners practice "defensive medicine", that is, they stick to the time tested rules for fear of being sued should anything go awry. Thus, the case law defining medical negligence, meaning jurisprudence, too has a significant role to play in the further research into Medical applications for Blockchain technology.

Such being the state of affairs, frankly speaking, I don't foresee any significant advances on this front in any advanced country. Even in the places where such testing is feasible, perhaps in African or Asian developing countries, over the next several years or the entire decade in fact, there would only be pilot projects that 'test the water'. Only after such a trial succeeds will it be upgraded to a full-fledged protocol; and, only when that succeeds will it be undertaken massively in advanced countries.

Therefore, expect Medical Blockchain trials in the developing countries only. There's too much of litigation scare in the West, especially in the USA, for any significant development to occur.

Please can you explain me what do you mean in this: some of the case deserves second opinion? Can't understand if diagnoses are different in my country and maybe in England, how will blockchain help me to get rid of travel in England to check whether diagnose is right or wrong?
I think blockchain technology is great for medical aids, this way we will get rid of selling aids without prescription or prescribing it very blindly when it's not needed.

Sounds like Docademic (MTC), I suggest you read everything here: (https://mtc.docademic.com/). I think its only one ICO that I'm aware of but I'm sure that there are others out there that have this idea before. Obviously, Medicine/Healthcare are one industry in which blockchain can really be applied. Basically, there created an app which can be downloaded. All you have to do is input your information and they will give medical assistance through their platforms registered doctors. I suggest you read their Whitepaper to better understand it.

With medical icons, data can be stored in blockchain and can be pulled out internationally by those medical experts. Not just this, it can save time and medical expenses. It can also make the mode of payment easier through the use of tokens.
Why did you limit the proper uses of this technology in financial aspects and then issued tokens?.
Blockchain does not mean that it can use it in financial only, but in many areas:

  - Can be established factories and with the feedback based on blockchain to make the amount of error zero, which improves the quality of medicines and medical devices.
 - Can be used to give ratings to doctors and patients.

About payment using tokens, there are those who preceded you to this idea, and they have created good projects such as Docademic (MTC)[1], health-fx[2], peeratlas[3],...etc

if "info/data" here means medical records of patients, that is a bad idea and should never happen!
having those records on blockchain means public records, accessible and readable by everyone
medical records should be private, shared between medical experts with patient's consent

We should all look at Estonia as their test of the blockchain in the medical industry is running and is live.  In the United States access, updating and the inefficiency of medical records is a major pain point.  It is not conducive for transparency at all.

a good time of day.
in general, not a bad idea, but unfortunately at the moment or more precisely to say at this time it has zero implementation pricing, because people do not yet understand what crypto currency is and how to use it
