Can anyone please point me to sources of information that show Bitcoin popularity/usage on a state-by-state basis? Information about any kind of BTC-related activity would be helpful; transactions, mining, etc.

Thanks

I'd be curious as well. Let it be known that there is at least one in Texas.  Wink

My clients have identified three major state jurisdictions of interest to them for soliciting Bitcoin customers: New York, California and Texas.  Illinois is a distant fourth place.

That said, I think pedrog's google trend map is excellent and blows away my anecdotal data.

Marco Santori is a lawyer, but not your lawyer, and this is not legal advice.  If you do have specific questions, though, please don't hesitate to PM me.  We've learned this forum isn't 100% secure, so you might prefer to email me.  Maybe I can help!  Depending upon your jurisdiction, this post might be construed as attorney advertising, so: attorney advertising Smiley
