Many people say's that the cryptocurrency changes their life because many of the Bitcoiner especially people here really earn a lot from the cryptocurrency.
But currently, the cryptocurrency is down unlike its price on 2017, and the bitcoin is still crushing.

what would you think will be the future of the cryptocurrency? I know many people here really believe in Bitcoin and Cryptocurrency, but as of the moment, I'm starting to lose hope on the crypto because of it continues downfall.

There is a huge drop in all the crypto currencies since February-March in 2018. But I think this situation will be changed in the beginning of this year. There are lot of crypto traders expecting that happens. In my opinion, Hold your Bitcoins or any other coin until the beginning of 2019.

The Federal Reserve could issue its own digital currency, as some global central banks are exploring.

Large companies such as Amazon, Walmart and Starbucks might issue digital coins that inspire trust and gain wide acceptance.

Retail giants, by accepting payments in the currency, could elevate Bitcoin, Ethereum or another cryptocurrency above the others vying to offer safety, soundness and utility.

So you just got tired with few dumps and ups ? Come on mate people has seen many incidences like this and there is no way that crypto currency will drop to worst bottom. If it ever dumped itself then it will get back to the normal position again. I understand one fact here, crypto currency recovery procedure can take long time, just like the current year. In this one the crypto currencies are dumping themselves since 8 months now. However it has got to do with many bad news around here. However that is just temporary and it will go up ATH soon.

You start to lose hope because you cant earn nothing from it ? If you lose hope then Short it Just take a closer look to Yearly graph and you will see that every year Bitcoin is just more and more valuable . Last year it was between 1k-3k . Now we are at 7-8k Range . So its quite good if we compare from last year . In your place i would just fill the bags with spare money that you can afford to lose .

I think that many companies will begin to pay freelancers fees in the crypto currency. As a result, new tax reforms will be required. In the long term, governments will begin to raise sales taxes.

When would you think it will end, and what is the most promising coin as of the moment?

Cryptos are currently mainly being used as an investment asset. People are buying and holding in the hope of getting a good return.  Nothing wrong in it but we will not be able to harness the actual power of cryptos unless people starts using it as a currency.

Cryptos, most importantly bitcoin, was founded to become a currency and not as an investment.  The increased adoption by the merchant establishments is the key to growth. The legal status is also playing a role of bottleneck. So the legal framework needs to be defined first so that it can lead the way for increased adoption.

The future looks strong. But every new thing usually takes some time for the mass to consume especially when serious amount of money is involved. It is just going through this phase.

I think crypto currencies got a bright future, I know the price is not higher than December but bitcoin price still got a good growth, and the popularity of crypto is getting higher and higher, so we just need to encourage people to used crypto in a positive way, I know this time the bear market has been long, but don't lose hope, I believe there will be bull market soon

The first part is a very interesting question that I believe nobody has the definite answer. What we can see is based on the patterns of the price up to 2017, when the price tends to go up towards the end of the year, only to go down again afterward.

As for the second question, IMHO Bitcoin is still the most promising coin. The other coins (thousands in numbers) simply follow the price movement of Bitcoin.

If people are losing hope in cryptocurrency all because of the decrease in their prices then i think this is quite unfortunate. To me we should be more concern about the help cryptocurrency and its related projects offers rather than the prices. Regarding the price too i believe it will not remain there forever. It will surely rise.

I believe crytocurrency has a very bright future despite the fact that we are currently experiencing continuous price reduction. All crypto lovers and investors  must keep positive hopes alive because the market is either bearish or bullish. Experiencing a bearish market now doesn't mean its the end of life; there are more better things ahead.

How can you say that cryptocurrencies are on a continuous downfall? you said that compared to 2017, the statue of cryptocurrencies this year is way worse than it was last year, from a limited angle it is true, you're probably saying this being influenced by the manipulated pumps we had the last year which was very strange, Bitcoin rose up in value by 5k in one month(December) that can't be caused randomly that's why BTC had many expected corrections after that.

From my humble point of view, 2018 is a decent year cryptocurrencies adoption rate is ascending, more companies are accepting them and we have seen the start of many promising projects.

The crypto market is relatively small i think. Think about it, there are 26 million wallets for bitcoin from users. How many invested at least 1000$? Remember, 1 dollar is enough to rise the price of entire market on a thin order book.
Personally i am both skeptical and confused, since people bought based on what mass media said. The attention came from outside, and the crypto enthusiasts number remained little, still. If we go back in 2016 now? How many stuff changed?

Don't worry about today's market conditions, and don't panic. traders predict that the trade world will be bad this year. some figures predict that bitcoin will be more than 20K this year, but that is just a simple analysis. we never know about market volatility.

This is just starting, we will see perfect crypto in the future.

For me, i think that the future of crypto currency and bitcoin is either bright or not. Its because i see that the technology is upgrading every time, as the technology upgrades, many opportunities will come and many possibilities, just like bitcoin being innovated in the future or maybe someone might create bitcoin competitor and that will cause bitcoin to fall. But no one really knows what will be the future of crypto currency and bitcoin, all that we can do is to wait for it to happen.

just because bitcoin price is not increasing 100% per week which is only your weird expectation out of bitcoin, it doesn't mean bitcoin is "crashing". bitcoin has stopped going down 2 months ago and we have been in pretty much the same place ever since: at the bottom. a crash means going to $5k levels!

and what does the price drop have anything to do with the future of cryptocurrency?!! it is not all about the price. of course when you say cryptocurrency, most of the altcoin futures will depend on their price because if they lose the pumped price they gained they will be put aside by the bag holders and they can go down to zero. but you can't generalize it to all.
