Hi I just saw this account https://github.com/satoshinnakamoto. This account has a Dave Kleiman profile picture and was created in Feb this year. This account has also contributuons in Bitcoin Core with timestamps from 2010 how is that possible ? I heard that all of satoshis contributions are linked with non-github-bitcoin. I cannot imagine that this is Satoshis account. Maybe this account was created by his E-Mail hacker

You are correct.

Already explained here:
No, Satoshi did not join Github 2 days ago. In fact, Satoshi does not have a Github account (at least associated with the name Satoshi Nakamoto) and he never used Github. The move to Github happened after Satoshi left.

This account appears to have falsely taken attribution for some of Satoshi's commits. This occurs because any Github account can add any email that they want to the Github account and Github will show any commits with that email as belonging to that account, even if the email is unverified. We normally keep the emails of Satoshi, sirius, and laszloh under this account: https://github.com/non-github-bitcoin. However I didn't notice that the satoshin@gmx.com email was used before in the commit history, so someone has claimed that as theirs with a different Github account. I'm currently talking to Github about this and hopefully it will be resolved soon.

I don't see any contributions, so it looks like it's been fixed.

At this point, assume any Github account attempting to look like Satoshi Nakamoto as a fake.

All information related to Satoshi Nakamoto is now. It is a fake!. Because he/she can not appear at this time. It's hard to say the reason, but if he/she seems, it's hazardous, including the market.

I think Satoshi's appearance on GitHub can be fake, bad guys always deliberately pretend to Satoshi for themselves, you should be careful about this.

There've now been so many 'second comings' that even if the real Satoshi decided to roll back into action, he's going to have some work to do to prove who he is and there's never been the slightest hint since his disappearance of him coming back despite all the attempted deceptions since.

Obviously the only way to prove it is to move coins from the right addresses or use his PGP key, but even then all that proves is that the person doing it controls Satoshi's keys. It's probably too far gone now and he'd more than likely approve of that.

I was actually thinking the same thing. I think his plan of anonymity worked a little too well!

Perhaps, someone pretended to be Satoshi for his benefit, because he had been hiding for so long, no one knew anything about him, maybe he already dead.

Perhaps, someone pretended to be Satoshi for his benefit, because he had been hiding for so long, no one knew anything about him, maybe he already dead.

There are several possible explanations for these actions :

1. Someone is messing around and creating more confusion about Satoshi's real identification by linking this information together. Some stupid journalist will make this connection and claim that they found Satoshi Nakamoto again.  Roll Eyes

2. Someone tried to fool people into believing that he/she is the real Satoshi and that Satoshi is still around.  Roll Eyes

3. Someone is looking for some media attention.  Roll Eyes  <CW>

Fortunately a lot of the people in the community are not fools and they know the difference between the real Satoshi and the fakeSatoshi and what proof is necessary to prove his real identity.  Wink

Anything do really need a strong proof and as we have seen the the past where there are people who do claim themselves to be satoshi just to seek out media attention but just really a nonsense thing yet the entire community wont really be easily fooled to believe regarding on Satoshis existence. No one knows if hes dead or whats the current situation of his life now but one thing is rest assured that hes glad that his creation do able to make some changes or innovation which do really benefited by its users.

It's a fake. And a very low effort one at that.
