Deleted twitter account.
Sold the domain name.
Deleted the website. (The server isn't down... There's just no data to transmit.)

I don't know how much more proof you need before you accept it. They're gone... Not coming back as the same entity...

Plus, MtGox app confirms that there is "zero" trading volume.

Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

If they wanted to "disappear with the money" - why would they allow people to withdraw fiat?

You are at stage one, my friend.

      <title>MtGox.com</title>
   </head>
   <body>
      <!-- put announce for mtgox acq here -->
   </body>

You might be right on this1 and i honestly hope you are because i have btc and fiat in mtgox. However don't you think that if they wanted to fix the code or resume withdrawals and test the site wouldn't they scream it off the rooftops as they always do, or at least let everyone know?

Well, they did say they were fixing the code. And they have a bad history of shitty PR. Plus they have said that they need to test their code 'live'. So you put that all together and maybe...

Well now their site has a message that says:

<html>
   <head>
      <title>MtGox.com</title>
   </head>
   <body>
      <!-- put announce for mtgox acq here -->
   </body>
</html>

(in the source)

so who knows. Their support page is still online so i'm very pissed that they haven't put any news on there to explain what the fuck they are doing

Just viewed the source of mtgox again and I have just seen about 20 lines of code with the phrases "mark" ,"my account id: ,and my correct ip address showing in one of the lines, when i refreshed the page to make a screenshot it was gone and now back to this again:

<html>
   <head>
      <title>MtGox.com</title>
   </head>
   <body>
      <!-- put announce for mtgox acq here -->
   </body>
</html>
