The Bitcoin network protocol was designed to be extremely flexible. It can be used to create timed transactions, escrow transactions, multi-signature transactions, etc. The current features of the client only hint at what will be possible in the future.

I never trusted PayIvy to begin with because of how sketchy everything looked. It's like a classic template from a company that wants to steal your money.
I'm sure they're a legitimate company and aren't a scam, but the name "PayIvy" was pretty bad, now "Shophava"? Are they serious?.. Whoever is head of their marketing needs a serious talking to.

I've used Payivy painlessly a couple of times. I've never really understood why companies change names unless they're involved in some appalling scandal but perhaps the new name has been scientifically tested to give users warm feelings in their toilet areas.

My toilet area feels ashamed and nervous about the new name. I've used PayIvy a few times to make some random small payment and never had a problem, but the name-change doesn't feel like it was a smart move. I've been wrong before of course...

So, what you think are best alternatives ? I've used Payivy painlessly a couple of times. I've never really understood why companies change names unless they're involved in some appalling scandal but perhaps the new name has been scientifically tested to give users warm feelings in their toilet areas.
Yes, it's bad name indeed. I've used Payivy painlessly a couple of times. I've never really understood why companies change names unless they're involved in some appalling scandal but perhaps the new name has been scientifically tested to give users warm feelings in their toilet areas.
maybe, or maybe bought from someone... like many others changes for example odesk changes to upwork for example. and also marketplace like bitify changes lately... some websites sold to another company and sometimes they decide to change names... anyway what you think are best alternatives ? My toilet area feels ashamed and nervous about the new name. I've used PayIvy a few times to make some random small payment and never had a problem, but the name-change doesn't feel like it was a smart move. I've been wrong before of course... I'm not entirely sure what the best "alternatives" are for PayIvy, because I've only ever used it when it was forced upon me.. In the cases where it's the only option available for me to purchase a subscription or whatever. So whatever niche market it's trying to fill, I'm unsure.

Nothing to do with appalling scandals actually. If you had management and commerce, you'd know the concept of re-branding.Basically it works in the company's favor.People are usually looking for more to meet their requirements. If the current system doesn't allow that and their base is kind of drifting away from it,rebranding is the best way to get in the action again. The closes competitor/the best one : slut.io

It generally takes time for a new site to build its reputation, so I prefer watching PayIvy and Rocketr.net to see what they are really made of.

Re-branding is used usually when company thinks that new name will help them achieve better sales and recognition. Most common reasons: - company believes that Shophava is a better suited name for their service, - they upgraded/changed so much, to the point they think changing name is only viable way to express how great they are now - their CEO or staff changed - they want to refresh their image and pursue their identity as a company - bad reputation - but I didn't heard about anything scandalous linked to PayIvy

Yes, I agree with you, but that's may mislead customers.
I did see website called selly.io also lately. support digital goods.
the main reason for this topic that we discuss services which similar or alternatives to sell with bitcoins or digital currency and discuss it.

The reason for change of name is due to the new owner, it was previously owned by a community member. He sold it to a company similar to shopify for about 100 grand. They needed to change the name for legal reasons, the source needed to be re-done as well, it was a failed investment on their end, but he made off with a good amount of money.
As far as alternatives, I'd check out sellfy.

Any new marketplaces we should check that you can trust ?
On some places on the forum I am seeing that ZIGGER is doing their ICO and they are in planning to provide a platform with which they will make us enable to buy any thing for our living with bitcoin. If that came in existence then we will find a place to buy and sell and do any dealing with bitcoin. beside that I am using shophave and namecheap for domain related services.
