I gave a try to the 0.8.4 beta. I have 2 1080ti's they work fine on 0.8.3 but with the beta build the second graphic card doesnt mine.

edit: I was running phi2

Where do you get the beta?  Is it a closed beta.

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

my 1080 got the same results, but 1080ti shows only 6000khash, with 0.8.3 the difference between was more significant

For some rigs with 7gtx 1080 ti I can see drop from 28 to 26 with 0.8.4b (win 10/last drv). For some others - from 7 to 15% increase by rig side. Pool still doesn't recognize my new speed.

I have found a nice improvement in hashrate for Neoscrypt with 0.8.4.  Thanks!  Now averaging 2.2 MH/s on my 1080tis.

I set the difficulty at 7.  If I set it at 8 I got memory errors on one of my rigs.

do you mean the intensity?  Doesn't the original post say intensity ranges from 0 to 6?

Great job on the hash rate improvements in Beta 8.4.  However, I noticed one small issue with the current beta release - the miner always tries to write to a log file even when the -log parameter is not used.  I don't know if this is on purpose to make sure debugging information is captured for testing, but it prevents a second instance of CryptoDredge from starting because both instances try to write to the same log file. The second instance obviously crashes because the first instance has a lock on the log file.  Right now, the workaround is of course to set a custom log file parameter for each instance, but hopefully this automatic logging will be disabled in the final release. Also, it would nice if the miner would not crash if it cannot write to the log file; rather it could just no longer try to write to the file and still mine.

You can set the intensity as high as 8 now.

try adding:

-d 0,1,2,3,4,5 eccc....

in your case:
-d 0,1
which stands for both gpu's

Hi, it may be a stupid question, but... when I am using CryptoDredge with phi2, my GPU makes strange sound. It's hard to describe, but something like something was burning. I've made underclock, raised fans etc.
Whenever I turn it off, the sounds stop immediately. Is it normal?

Yes

Anything wrong with my GTX 1080 Zotac? It seems slower for lyra2z as compare to other miner. My driver version is 398.11. Anybody have any success using the latest 0.8.4 beta?
