So the price will get lower until people start selling it? And then what will happen when everyone sells? It will go back up? I think you've got your market mechanics backwards.

I think the following four reasons:
1. Investors reduce their interest in Bitcoin
2. Market manipulation
3. Investors sell off
4. Poor liquidity

We've been bumping up and down for the past 4 months with no real result. There should be larger reactions than this but we're not seeing anything. I would think that with the currency crises going on around the world that more people would want to protect their earning by buying bitcoin.

Well, in my opinion the ETF hype took prices up and so we needed to get back to where we were so that we can start afresh or continue where we left off . My only worry is how ALTs suffer when such things happen. They drop real heard

You ask something that anyone does not know the answer to the question, well I will try to answer. price reduction is a natural thing, all you have to do is hold it until the price rises again.

Holding isn't the only thing that he can do but he can also buy while the prices are dropping. There's too much to worry about the price but if you are confident with the market you don't have to think of it all the time.

Fluctuation is normal on this very free market so we can't control it unless you are part of the whales club.

If I bought more bitcoins at that price then I will be in more loss because the price fell almost $1000 again after I created that topic.So that is why I just hold on to that without selling or buying anything.

It is sad to say that I am ot a whale,I am just a normal investor looking to make some money for my needs.

It's not a problem if you did nothing on that moment and by holding it that can be considered as the best thing that you did.

We got some encouragement at the moment, bitcoin dominance is so close to 50% and we moved up few hundreds today.

At the moment investors are encouraged to buy more here and this is done by the Bitcoin’s price which is low for investor can afford this price easily. People find it easy to achieve and afford low price Bitcoins that happens only when demand of it decreases.

We have been watching the shifting game of price between 8.5k US dollar and 6k US dollar price but it can recover and when it recovered then there will be no happier person on earth except Bitcoin’s investors.

Currently the price of bitcoin is at $7358 and it almost fell $1000 in 72 hours,I thought this price fall is just normal at the beginning but now little worrying because I bought few bitcoin when the price bump in the thought that bull run has started.Anyone know the reason why the prices were falling and when it will be on the upward track?

I think this is now normal in the cryptocurrency with a small ups then followed with a bigger dumps. Indeed a crazy market for the past 6 months and even with a good news about the crypto it's still not able to break the wall resistance.

All we have to do is be patient. There is nothing comes from nothing. A little bit of patience is needed. We all want the price to rise and experience the $20k again, not to mention that we should support bitcoin in its ups and downs. I am really sick of seeing threads that talk negatively about bitcoin because the price has fallen. If the price fell, it would not be the end of world because it surely would grow again in the near future!

These conditions are not permanent and I am sure that Bitcoin will act according to the past movements again. I can say without any hesitation that it will go high very soon and experts are also positive about it that it is going to show some magic in the upcoming months. The current price has come to 6226 US dollar and this is favorable for investors to buy on the low price as they may not get this opportunity in future.

We can not say the exact reason why bitcoin is failing down. But we all know that bitcoin is so unpredictable its price will suddenly go up and down. So every seconds counts in bitcoin, so always be wise in selling, buying and investing to bitcoin. Bitcoin could not act just  like before that this month increase the price. So make sure you have your strategy about it. I know all of individual here has a tactic on how we could earn more in this community.

Yeah and i don't think there's any specific reason why thr price moves the way it does because it's highly speculative and sometimes manipulated. So it can swing at any time without warning. That's why many predictions usually end up off target.

If ETF was the only reason we should be rising into 2019 because its not till February that we will find out the final ETF for BTC that has the greatest chance of success.  I see it as very possible, a rising tide of speculation occurs just ahead of that decision just because it might go ahead and that would introduce BTC to a much wider market in the worlds largest trading market

i think this is mainly the correction of the super hyped up ETF's FOMO buy combined with a lot of manipulative dumps at $8000 to push the price lower which succeeded. and when that was broken the market reacted to that drop and continued on a downtrend.

it still isn't big so i wouldn't worry about it unless we start seeing $6k again and try testing the bottom.

Right on this,and the delayed of ETF decision is one of the factor why this manipulators fails on their target as they bring the price grow and now withdrawing is affecting the value and its getting dip again..i am just praying that this ETF will really bring goodness to all of us and it wont be a false hope as many are relying upon this to make boost the market prices

I hope that it will not affect the market too much. In fact now the investors realized the games of the manipulators and they are not going to let them manipulate the market anymore. Bitcoin is now trading too much stable and hope that it will gradually start increasing its price.

I think what makes cryptocurrency prices fall again is the bad news circulating in several media that made cryptocurrency prices fall and made cryptocurrency prices so cheap because there are so many traders who panic and sell their assets at very cheap prices.

No I think that the investors are not going to wait anymore for the EFT. The market started to become green. In fact investors already started investment in bitcoin and therefore we are expecting that bitcoin  price is going to reach to 20k before the next date of ETF.
