But I think the price of bitcoin is directly related to the price of ethereum, why? because when bitcoin's price decreases, the same goes with the price of ethereum, it is also decreasing, and when the price of bitcoin increases, the same goes with the price of ethereum, it also increase. One of the thing I know that contributed to the popularity of Ethereum is the ERC20 tokens built on its blockchain, and all those ICOs which makes ETH looks like the alternative to bitcoin. ICO industry is in shambles now and this can have an impact on the acceptability and the exchange rate of Ethereum. Also, there are other platforms such as Stellar which are competing with ETH. |
