I think it will still cross $10k mark but then it will be a gradual process. Any sudden pump is not a good indication for the market. Unnecessary speculations here and there too is a factor, I prefer it grows gradually at its own pace so the price can be sustainable in the long run. It's possible but i'm not expecting the price to rise that high during this month because it's been several months since the last time we saw the price cross $10k. Keep your hand tight cause when it reaches 10k$ it will really be fast to go back to ATH. Investors are now accumulating the dips from this situation and what do you think they will do? ofcourse they will hodl it and if the market noticed supply of bitcoin is decreasing this will make a huge price of bitcoin. I wonder until when it will happen. But the new news spreading about the biggest stock exchange entering the scene will also add up to possible pump. More good news are expecting to come on the following weeks.

Yeah I wouldn't expect it to linger around the 10k level for very long. There's probably more people waiting to cash out at that level and it'll bounce back down as soon as it gets up there. But there would probably be a second run at it and perhaps it'll stay above it for a while.

It's still trying to find a reasonable price range after that shooting up so high last year, so I wouldn't be too worried if it bounces around a bit. Money will continue to flow in and out of it. Because the market sentiment is overall quite positive, I wouldn't be worried about any short term dips.

I would be shocked if bitcoin didn't passed $20k let alone $10k. I believe it will be $100k one day for sure, just don't know when, maybe in a year, maybe a decade.

It looks like we are having a bad year and we have been through some rough patches however I know bitcoin is still strong and valuable and I think the moment we get rid of these whales trying to play with bitcoin like its toy for them and make loads of profits, we will get back to initial original sentiment for bitcoin and at that moment bitcoin and bitcoiners will remember why it was created to begin with and we will be alright.

i think this is the biggest problem that we are facing these days. the manipulation at critical times. someone doesn't want the price to rise and they are doing all they can to keep it down.
i don't think we can get rid of whales ever, they are making a lot of money and will continue getting bigger only. the only way to fight them is to create a bigger market so that their size compared to the whole market don't matter anymore.

This is very possible because Bitcoin has grown to this day. Although the price of Bitcoin had experienced a decline, at the moment I think that the price of bitcoin is already at a fairly stable rate. The price of bitcoin is very possible to again experience an increase again, it is all based on the growing number of Bitcoin users and more abandoned currencies. This must be maintained and if it can last for some time then I am very confident that the Bitcoin Price can reach a much higher value than $ 10k. It's always a tricky situation to buy the dip, especially because of how the mainstream media likes to hype things up.

CNBC nearly two days ago pointed out that the NYSE & Starbucks development would push the price higher and that it was a good moment to buy the dip, which was around $7400 that day. Today we see how much of a good moment that dip was with how we have fallen below the $7000 level and we might go even lower.

CNBC has been the perfect counter indicator on so many levels, that it's almost surreal. The price has always gone up when they were bearish, and gone back down when they started to get bullish. Classic example of how they don't know anything about this market and how good news has zero effect during a bear market.

Since bitcoin is unpredictable we don't know what will be the price of bitcoin before end of August but there are sometimes that bitcoin increase because of a great news or there are some big investors invest a huge amount to buy bitcoins that can push the price a lot higher.

What I clearly see about the price of bitcoin this month I think the possible price can reach is around $7500 based on my own speculation $10k is impossible to happen this month but this coming November and December I think we will witness that the price will touch to $10k or might be the price will cross above $10k.

It is very possible for bitcoin to cross $10,000 and even moving above.  Bitcoin has come out of many bearish trend like this and make a very good bullish trend and I think this year is not exemption.  The people dumping will regret in future about what they are doing.

I do think that eventually we will bounce hard just based on technical aspects, without the need of positive news. I like your down to earth way of looking at things. People quite often forget that we're dealing with different traders and investors nowadays, which all secure their profits on time.

Seriously, where in the world do you even get 10% returns per year? People here have been spoiled with how the price has gone up last year ~ if the price isn't at least doubling it's somehow not worthy enough for them.

All these crazy high expectations only lead to disappointment, which is exactly why the sentiment everywhere is rock bottom right now. If there wasn't an ETF to hope for, the price would sink hard.

Just because market cap or price decreases doesn't mean that it's necessarily a bad sign for the future, or that prices are going to continue to dip. That logic doesn't work.

Having that said, however, I do think that prices are going to see further sideways movement if not further dips below the $7k level to test the support at $6k. There are virtually no bullish sentiment in the market at the moment, and a trend reversal in the short term is very unlikely.

To address your question, I'd say that $10k is probably out of the picture right now. Not only is there no bullish momentum as I mentioned, there is also a huge resistance at both the $8k and $10k level as previous rallies have demonstrated. Unless there is some major positive news like an ETF being approved which is very unlikely, then the chances of $10k being breached out of the blue is minimal.

you do have point here about the gains and investors should have more realistic expectations but also lets not start comparing bitcoin with other assets because there is nothing like bitcoin. 50% for bitcoin is one of the most common gains. when you want to compare, you should only compare bitcoin to itself not something else because it has nothing in common with others.

Well it's not a question of "if"  But "when". 10k i think is possible for this year if we're going to have a strong finish but next year would likely see us cross that point and beyond. I'm not too optimistic this year since majority has been for the bears but 10k isn't that far from where we are right now.

I still doubt that in August Bitcoin can cross $ 10,000. The market is still not stable and for the price of $ 10,000 I think it will happen in September.
