Try moving this thread to the Trading Discussion board: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=8.0

You'll have better luck getting an answer there.

Furthermore, you may discover that a search can give you the answer that you're looking for. Here's a result that I think you might find helpful: Margin trading tutorial?

Good luck!

The amount and maintenance of margin accounts depends quite a bit on the exchange you are using and where you are located. If you are willing to invest larger amounts ($10,000+) Bitmex or Bitfinex would be good places to start. If you are looking to do smaller amounts, places like cex.io or Poloniex also offer margin trading if you qualify. Keep in mind that all of these have different rules and restrictions, so make sure you do your research to find the one that works for you.

Here is a resource for beginners as well on margin trading in the crypto space: https://cryptopotato.com/bitcoin-altcoins-margin-trading-beginners/

This should explain everything: What is margin trading?

The most important point is this: a newbie should avoid margin trading. It is very risky, and you are likely to lose everything.

Buy bitcoins with cash from somebody near you: LocalBitcoins
Buy stuff on Amazon at a discount with bitcoins: Purse.io
Join an anti-signature campaign: DannyHamilton's ignore list
