Noob to mining. I setup the .bat file for cgminer. When I doble click on the .bat to launch cgminer, a black box flashes and the goes away.

I also tried to manually input on the command line. Simply crashes.

What am I doing wrong?

Even if you use Bitcoin through Tor, the way transactions are handled by the network makes anonymity difficult to achieve. Do not expect your transactions to be anonymous unless you really know what you're doing.

I figured it out guys. Nothing like banging my head against the keyboard until it works!
