WEB 3.0

Many articles discuss the "revolution" 4.0. 5.0 6.0 or 7.0. I'm not very excited. Almost all are just buzzwords and add "zero dots" to increase the important part does not deserve.

I'm really excited. Is WEB 3.0.

Web 1.0 is revolutionary. Move all the books and information of mankind to something called Internet. This is one of the biggest turning points in history. Increase the human IQ significantly.

Web 2.0 takes Web 1.0 one step further by turning small individuals into independent publishers and publishers. Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, Blogging, Reddit. Making the publishing industry shake, producing focused content.

Web 2.0 generates a huge amount of personal database. And the "oil field" is exploited and held by empires like Google, Facebook, Amazon etc.

> 90% of Google and Facebook revenue come from advertising. Advertising is the traditional revenue model of Web 2.0.

Web 2.0 is a wonderful thing, connecting the world we have today. Web 2.0 turns all individuals into independent publishers.

However Web 2.0 has a shortcoming. The focus of the Data holding group ("oil"). And the advertising model created the intermediary. Independent content producers (individuals) are required to negotiate with intermediaries to make money (like YouTube, Google, Facebook, Amazon).

And BOOM !!! Web 3.0 was born. Bring the ability to make money for each individual by ignoring his intermediary. How? Use BLOCKCHAIN.

Database has become Databank.

Social Networking Minds is a typical example of Web 3.0 built on Blockchain. Rather than using ad models and exploiting user information. Minds uses Token as a currency to transfer values between users based on the value of the information they produce.

Steemit (Steem), Brave Browser (Basic Attention Token), IPFS, Storj, are gradually turning users into information owners and manufacturers no longer have to rely on intermediaries to make money. The Internet will become a gold mine for individuals instead of big ones thanks to Web 3.0.

Web 3.0 upgrades each individual from a standalone publisher to an independent bank + publisher.

Its HUGE.

The existence of BTC can already demonstrate the priority and security of blockchain technology. The future development of blockchain technology is definitely getting better and better. At present, huawei and tencent have started to develop blockchain technology, so this may also indicate the future direction.

Blockchain technology is yet another buzz to get more money out of investors and the public. It's among the latest tech jargon that many business are including in their blurbs to drive SEO and appease their investors and draw in prospective clients.

I've seen companies within my industry mention blockchain technology with little explanation as to how it will apply - a lot of words with little meaning, as it were.

Bitcoin is one of the best promotors and biggest detractors for blockchain technology. The concept is great but the cost in achieving such integrity is a high one to pay (electricity used for mining).

As I know huawei update blockchain technology. I think its very essential to update blozckchain technology. btc already demonestrate the privacy and secruty of bitcoin technology . I think the technology will more batter now.
For Huawei it is not the first time that they are working on decentralized projects. For example, in collaboration with Hyperledger, an open-source blockchain operation developed in 2015 by the Linux Foundation, Huawei has carried out a number of blockchain-related projects. Huawei also announced that they will create their own Bitcoin (BTC) wallet, which will be supplied on all new Huawei smartphones.

Tencent has also participated in the blockchain world before. The tech giant has worked with various Chinese officials last June to create the China Blockchain Security Alliance. At present, more than 20 public and private institutions, including government consultancies, are affiliated.

Blockchain is an advanced technology, developed and successful with the success of Bitcoin! Bitcoin can be replaced by altcoin but the blockchain technology will certainly grow and be widely used
I cant think of any alcoin to possibly replace bitcoin at least 10 years from could be possible, but for now i dont think so, though i believed there are some coins now adays that are far more better that bitcoin in terms of speed and usability, but man the market cap, the price, the adoption etc.. bitcoin will lead them all!

You can scratch out bitcoin when it comes to the blockchain technology alone. All other tokens that doesn't have to be mined using the asic devices and GPUs also use blockchain. But I have to agree promoting bitcoin is one hell that can turn heads. Currently, most tech companies are already looking into blockchain, this is got to be one of the most learned tech in the future.

Any company that wishes to stay relevant will have to restructure itself using blockchain tech.

I'm most excited about decentralized news platforms, in which we'll finally be able to read factual content rather than bended truths depicted by sites dependent on advertising revenue and corporate interests.

Do you think Huawei will someday have its own currency and maybe an sto/ico  offering or that their technology will partner with some existing blockchain project ? .. Do not forget about Sirin labs... we will see maybe in 2-5 years  Cool Cool

Funny. In my memory there are only a few social networks where coins are relevant - this is a telegram and a Taklimakan, where users can monetize content. It will be interesting to see how instagram wants to integrate it

I think it is high time for large social networks to develop coins for themselves. Only if the owner of instagram is facebook, it turns out their services will also support the coin?

I do not know how true this is, but all three services (instagram, facebook and whatsapp) will have to be linked in one StableCoin. so it was on the news

It will be interesting to see what comes of it. Using tokens for advertising services? not bad. especially given the fact that now the instagram is becoming like a retailer of various services and goods

Instagram will also launch their own cryptocurrency? isn't that instagram is a facebook sister's company? meaning to say that Instagram and Facebook would be having with their own coins or they both depend on one coin and that is the facebook coin. Having own cryptocurrency is still different from the idea of blockchain technology. The coin's network might be using blockchain technology but it will be centralized because it will be run by a company.

I agree that WEB 3.0 offers great individual advantages and that is why this market is growing a lot, because we have to recognize that the 2.0 model with large companies has had many complaints regarding the fact that there are too many restrictive policies, therefore, I believe that WEB 3.0 and blockchain technology provide excellent opportunities for everyone who wants to participate.
