Bear market is even favorable for new investors to buy on low price so as to use less money to get it as well as they can make large collection that will pay off the most in bull market. Always think for benefit and focus on it so that you will never face with any kind of difficulties or useless discussions as well to get rid of complications. Now if you have invested then have patience and wait for the bull market to appear.
New investor would actually feel reluctant to invest during a bear market. The price fall will totally discourage them from investing unless the price has hit the bottom. This is when all the whales and new investors join and jumps on the train. They start investing as much as they can and this causes the price to go back forward and the bull run begins. We do not have to wish for our desired situations or conditions every time but should think for benefit as it is the most important thing investors look for. Whenever you start to look for benefit then you will be a successful person on any place in any conditions. In this market some people think that they are in loss but they do not see that they can recover and benefit their selves by buying more in numbers. |

If this year's market can't usher in a better turnaround, then I think the bear market will continue. If there aren't many products that attract investors, then the bear market may last until next year!
No one will be able to determine when the bear market will end since the price is based on supply and demand and the best way for you to earn profit is to conduct your own research to determine the next price stamp in the market statistics. just hope that the market can rise soon or in the next month. but I guess the sign of the market to rise is coming and I hope that it is starting to moves to the high price again. but we still need to wait for the price to increase higher and I think from now on, every coin in the market will increase although there is a possibility for each coin to get down again. we don't have to be panic if somehow, the price is down again and we can buy more for each coin we had so we can wait for a while to sell at the high price later.
I think it will take time because in these days people are confused what to, buy more, sell out holding, withdraw our money or convert to Altcoin? When people clear their mindset and decide what to do then the image of the future of bitcoin will be clear. Before that nobody can say for how long this bearish and ambiguous situation of the market will continue. |

Everyone keeps asking the same question over and over again at the speculation section of the bitcointalk. Yes we have been on a bear market for a long time and yes we have not gone up in price properly for months now. However without breaking the new people into bitcoin and getting the volume higher we will not see an increase at all.
Right now the volume is really low compared to what it once was, meaning if there is a new money coming in than the price will go up as well. We need to focus on making currently in people to invest further and find new people to keep investing into bitcoin. Without more money involved we will stay around these prices for a long time.
It's not only in this section, same questions are in ebry section, bitcoin discussion, alt section, marketplace, everywhere. Newcomers and some older members are asking the same question, they aren't aware that they are spreading spam, or they are? More people will bring in more money, that's is the way it goes, and when companies and governments starts to get into crypto officially they will bring even more money. All that is happening as we speak, but what we are waiting some huge wave, that will come in next few years, that's not a long time for waiting, use that time for making finding good investments. It depends on the investment capital, if more and more people invest in bitcoin and the market cap increases the current situation will end, and if people do not take interest in bitcoin investment then it is hard for the current market situation to end soon. It will last for long. We should put our money in bitcoin and also motivate other people to invest in bitcoin.by this way this situation will be controlled. |

We cant accurately tell, I think if you're patient with your investment to grow when the bullrun occur you wont ask frequently on how long we are going to wait because for sure no one knows. At the moment the market is showing recovery and somehow its a good sign that bear market might end in the coming days. We are heading to the last quarter of the year and hopefully there's a major changes in the market. |

Because, the growth of the value of bitcoin's not based on thousands or millions of hopes, but by the existence of buying activities. Continue your HODL, but if you still have money you should also make a repurchase, you have to believe the value of bitcoin will surely grow. Yeah you are right. I think that we should promote bitcoin and ask people to invest their money in bitcoin so that the market cap increase and this bearish situation come to an end. Many old investors are now disheartened from the current situation because they have lost their money and there is no signs for growth in the price. Now they think to convert their remaining balance into Altcoin. |

No one predicted that the price will hit $19K in December 2017. And no one predicted that the price is going to be $3K at the end of 2018. So let's see what 2018 will bring, we might see $10K at the end of the year and it would be great. However, it can go lower as well. So just be ready and be prepared and not expert something big so that as a investors, we won't get disappointed again. |

Sell at $2000. Then just wait till the bear season is over we will never know when this vicious season will end. Anyways, if the prices will just keep going down, at the end of it all, at zero dollars there is no way left to go but pump it again. This is just a worst case scenario. Everyone is on the lookout for a possible bull run. As of this posting, bitcoin price is still lingering at $3800ish. A big improvement from the stagnation that happened few weeks back at $3200ish.

Positive trend will change everything we are at now. The market will once again look good, and I don't like a pump anymore which will only cause a big downfall. Price is cannot be denied going downhill now, but it's alright, we can still stomach what's happening because when time comes, our effort will paid off. |

One cannot actually tell when exactly the bear market will end and people like and I will start taking our profit from our investment in crypto currency market. Althoug, one thing is certain about the market that time will eventually come when there will be a significant increase in rate of Bitcoin and other crypto currency and when that time comes we will all smile to the bank. |

The bear market has persist and since you open this thread till now nothing has really changed except downwards movements of pricing. Bitcoin has been going down and it is just a little above $3000. I think something technical or fundamental has to happen before we see changes in the direction of the market.

It is really difficult to know when will this bear market end because of the crypto market's unpredictability. Concerning ethereum, there is still hope for its price uptrend in the few weeks because of its anticipated fork this coming February.
