I seriously can see withdrawals coming back Monday, would be typical Gox Style. Funniest will be when they act like nothing ever happened. We shut down withdrawals for a week? so what? No harm done, ohh wait you got scared and sold you life's saving for pennies on the dollar... ohh sorry?

Smoke and mirrors. Let a few people withdraw to calm the masses, pretend things will soon be back on track, do nothing.

Price on Gox keeps rising, fear is subduing.

Of course they will fix the withdrawal issues, they're just doing it far too slow for a business which operates with large sums of money.

I read the replies and there is no proof on bitcoin withdrawls only SEPA that takes days, weeks months. The bitcoin transactions could be MtGOX themselves pulling out the money.

That's the point though - that they are testing their upgraded system

Or it could be then testing withdrawal functions, if they were pulling money out themselves, their is numerous ways they could do this without public knowledge? I'm gonna laugh so hard when they get restored, going to be epic

this would be typical for gox.. this fits so well. oh well, we created a massive arbitrage between our exchange and the rest? oh, too bad you couln't profit, because we are too slow to verify you.. rest assured our frontrunning team handled the situation professionally.

Come on guys we can push that Gox price up to $500... It deserves to at least be within shooting distance of Bitstamp, now that there's hope of BTC withdraws occuring especially considering that the fiat withdraws are in an even more dubious situation.

I believe this to be true. If it is not this will be an EPIC climb for bitcoin when everyone goes bezerk to get at the cheapies . Hope it will trigger all bots making a strong climb to a new ATH.

Unfortunatly I don't think anything new is happening since this seems to have been going on for a while =/: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=466189.0I really hope the withdrawals are restored soon though, and I feel very sorry for all people trapped in this mess.
